@KenyaAirways what's stopping you to have @Starlink on your airlines. It's boring flying 9hrs from Nairobi to London without Internet.

Travelled to over 20 countries and never experienced this. I think we need to change our mentality anyways. We shouldn't see ourselves as been inferior because of where we come from.

We've always been exposed when team shoot from outside the box. That's how United beat is last season and few games I can't remember.

I recently had the opportunity to share my perspective in an op-ed for @NewsCentralTV on a topic I believe is becoming increasingly important for the future of global commerce.
Much of the conversation around stablecoins has focused on whether they will disrupt traditional banking. I believe the more important conversation is about the financial infrastructure that powers global trade.
Businesses aren't looking for payment technology for its own sake. They want certainty. They want to know their suppliers will be paid on time, transactions can be tracked from initiation to settlement, and cross-border payments won't create unnecessary delays or tie up working capital.
In the op-ed, I explore why settlement infrastructure deserves far more attention, and why technologies such as stablecoins should be viewed as part of a broader evolution in global payments rather than as a replacement for banks. Financial institutions remain essential. The opportunity lies in building infrastructure that enables banks and businesses to move value across borders with greater speed, transparency and confidence.
Drawing on our experience at Clea, I also share how improving settlement times has helped businesses strengthen supplier relationships, unlock working capital and operate with greater certainty in international markets.
One line that captures my perspective is "Businesses do not compete on payment technology. They compete on certainty, and certainty is ultimately a function of financial infrastructure."

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts. As global trade continues to evolve, where do you see the biggest opportunity to improve cross-border payments?

Sending money across borders from Nigeria hits differently when that payment determines if your goods gets released today or next week.
The good news is there's a solution to this. Watch the full video with @OmotolaDorcas_1 on our YouTube channel
