My piece at Swarajya on who actually owns the brains behind India's Automotive industry.
This is blowing up, and I am learning from the responses as well!
Keep 'em coming.
@amargov @astrokaran
Totally unproductive parasites who park their backsides in college for a decade have no choice but to take refuge in caste. It's a blight and about time funding for these fake PhDs is cut off.

Muhammad Yunus presided over rampant rights abuses and extrajudicial killings as head of Bangladesh’s Islamist-leaning interim regime. Yet his deep ties to the Clintons have served him well throughout his career.
In the latest example, Yunus was presented with the Hillary Rodham Clinton (HRC) Award by Hillary Clinton herself at Georgetown University.
Yunus pioneered microcredit for which he and the Grameen Bank he headed jointly received the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize, after Bill Clinton lobbied for him. In presenting the prize, the chairman of the Norwegian Nobel Committee recalled Clinton’s 2002 statement: “Dr. Yunus is a man who long ago should have won the Nobel Prize and I’ll keep saying that until they finally give it to him.” The chairman then added, “Now Clinton will no longer need to remind us.”
The award also carried an unmistakable geopolitical message. The committee chairman expressed the hope that “this peace prize will represent a possible approach to the Muslim part of the world” amid the post-9/11 tendency to “demonize Islam.” He added, “It is an important task for the Nobel Committee to try to narrow the gap between the West and Islam.”
The Nobel Peace Prize has, to this day, remained largely a geopolitical instrument, with the Norwegian Nobel Committee often using it to advance a particular political worldview under the mantle of peace. Yunus’s prize, and the committee chairman’s own explanation of its purpose, offered a revealing example.

Hot air.
What novel ideas have the Chinese younger scholars put on the table?
Name one.
They just regurgitate the party line like programmed robots.
In the several decades of India- China relations it can’t be that China has made no mistake in dealing with India- China issues, only India has.
Have you the intellectual capacity and political freedom to reflect and cite any instance of a Chinese mistake in handling India?
This precisely captures why I detest engaging with veteran Indian scholars.
Having accumulated a vast reserve of past ideas, perspectives, and assumptions during their formative years, they find their capacity to learn new things, comprehend a changing world, and embrace fresh concepts plummeting as they age. Consequently, they constantly try to interpret a brand-new reality through the lens of obsolete mindsets—only to run into a brick wall time and again. At the same time, because they have achieved social distinction and success, they subconsciously attribute their status and wealth to their old worldview and a bygone era. This makes them cling even more fanatically to that tried-and-true path and fiercely resist any departure from it.
When younger generations introduce novel ideas and fresh insights, these scholars invariably adopt an air of condescension: "My life experience far surpasses yours," or even a rigid "I am right and you are wrong." This fully exposes the arrogance and conceit typical of older minds. Because their cognitive architecture can no longer offer a coherent explanation for the modern world, they resort to posturing—relying on seniority and a dogmatic "I'm right, you're wrong" stance in a desperate bid to preserve their fading authority.
They remain utterly perplexed by the new world, just as they are baffled by the youth's skepticism toward them, yet they still presume to lecture young people on how to "avoid detours." While the younger generation may lack experience, they are firmly convinced that these elders are hopelessly set in their ways, and that blindly replicating their methods is a surefire ticket to being discarded by the future.
Very, very insecure global power.
China is always angry
Chinese ambassador to the #Philippines Jing Quan made strong demarches to Philippine Secretary of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Theresa Lazaro over the Philippine anti-China politicians’ smear and slander against #China, according to a release from the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines on Monday. @Chinaembmanila

Nothing about She Jinpig. Where are the Winnie the pooh cartoons? The anti incumbency demanding new leadership?
Asking for CCP to be replaced ?
This is a truly pathetic defense of a propaganda fascist state.

You are misinformed.
UNMOGP has no role on the Indian side. They can’t enter J&K. They have a small liaison office in Delhi which we ignore. We have not expelled them because they are irrelevant.
China attacked us in 1962. Russian veto ended that mischievous move in the UNSC.
Even so, by your date line, for 64 years the UN ignored the Kashmir issue., till 2019 when a mischievous attempt by China fizzled out.
The UNGA hasn’t passed any resolution on J&K.
As for the OIC, which is an Islamic club no one now bothers about, ask yourself why Turkey plays such an active anti- Indian role in it. You took the chairmanship of the OIC contact group on Kashmir.
Beyond all this, in the Simla Agreement of 1972, Pakistan agreed that the Kashmir issue will be addressed bilaterally by the two countries.
The irrelevance of the OIC is exposed on the Palestine issue, recalling it was set up after the Al Aqsa incident. Gaza has been destroyed and the West Bank is under more and more duress.
Key OIC countries have now diplomatic ties with Israel.
As ambassador to Turkey I knew Kandemir,,Ozceri and Sanberk very well. Gentlemen. Constructive. Very friendly towards India.
You seem to be influenced by the dilution of secularism in Turkey and have imbibed Islamism under Erdogan.
Incidentally, I was the equivalent of the Undersecretary in your system.
@KanwalSibal
Every Chinese action betrays desperation and fear about the rise of India.
Sabotaging Indian manufacturing, stumbling and fumbling through these export restriction, border incursions & drubbing at the hands of Indian army.
G2 my ass.
China on Monday refined export controls on UAVs, dredgers and high-end engineering equipment, setting clearer technical thresholds while streamlining procedures for some widely used civilian products. The targeted approach aims to reduce misuse risks, strengthen end-use management and safeguard national security, while facilitating compliant trade and maintaining stable global industrial and supply chains.

Hey @elonmusk here is your real India opportunity.
The Boring Company can solve the biggest problem India faces today - infrastructure.
If you solve the actual problems we face, all else including Starlink will follow.

China is imposing export controls on more drones and machinery, as the world’s second-biggest economy flexes its industrial muscles. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
I wrote in @SwarajyaMag last week that India and Elon Musk are talking about the wrong things.
We need the Boring Company to set up shop here in India.
China knows what's the key to India's growth.
Here is the article.

Where is that US diplomat hiding now?
BANGLADESH, 8 MONTHS AFTER THE "NEW DAWN".
A State Minister steps out of his car.
Microphone in one hand. PISTOL in the other.
Ishraque Hossain, State Minister for Liberation War Affairs, chasing alleged drug peddlers in Gandaria on Saturday.
On the video someone says: "I will shoot straight away".
A detainee pleads: "Sir, I didn't do anything. I am a poor man."
Prothom Alo: PM Tarique Rahman has ordered him to resign.
This is the democracy Western media promised after July 2024.
How's it going ?
This is what the Bangladesh regime change brought to power.
Sheikh Hasina wasn't terrorist enough for them.
2 newly weds beheaded for probably just kissing in a mosque. We dont know if they even did that.
If its up to Americans then why are you issuing silly ultimatums that too of brutal murder of innocent animals in public places ?
