Another reason why SNL UK is a comedy gem right now. It's not afraid to take pops at the US version, while also embracing it with James Austin Johnson's Trump showing up in the same episode.

Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die: it's on Prime and well worth the watch. And incredibly prescient given the AI quagmire we're all facing.
Also watched Disclosure Day and kind of loved it, too. You could fall head first into the plot holes but it's vintage Spielberg - those car shots were incredible - and doesn't go where you think it should. And the acting of the newscaster at the end was award worthy.
Digger was great. More audience rug pulls like this, please! (signed by someone who was obsessed with postmodernism at uni.)
Watched Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie. And now read everything about how they made it. If you haven't done so, you should really do the same. So good.
Chelsea's management has been a shambles in recent years, but admitting financial irregularities was the absolute right thing to do. Man City will never be the same again after this.
Well, this looks all sorts of lovely. Just hope poor ol' left-handed me can use it properly.

Finally watched both Backrooms and Obsession (the latter hooked me more but both decent). Glad to see horror is in safe hands for years to come. Kind of want both directors to keep to the low budgets, though.
Ageing car racer gets back in the saddle for one last ride. I'll be there opening day but I bet Apple were glad to get F1 out of the Pit(t)s first and with the director of Top Gun: Maverick, too.
Always happy to see a King adaptation and this is one of the best stories. At 108 pages, though, will be interesting how they get six eps out of it.
EXCLUSIVE: Stephen King’s “Crouch End” is being adapted into a six-part limited series at Amazon Prime Video:
• Based on King’s 1980 short story, the show will mark the first King adaptation produced in the U.K.
• The synopsis reads: “London never sleeps deeply, and its dreams are uneasy. When global movie star Doris Freeman bursts into a London police station claiming that strange phenomena are behind the disappearance of her husband, police inspector Ted Vetter must investigate whether she’s telling the truth, whether she could be a murderer, or whether there’s something even more chilling at play.”
