All of your learning and thinking is wasted if you don't take action and change the world...but all bad things in life come from living extremes, so live a life of balance.
A few of my favorite takeaways:
All misery comes from dependency, so you should be independent...but commit because commitment brings love and happiness.
I'm reading the book How to Live by @sivers after hearing him on @tferriss podcast.
It's a short, thought-provoking book that demands your attention and challenges your philosophy with seemingly contradictory advice on living a full life. 🧵

Of course, I can still use closed-book evaluations where students can't use any tool, but if I would allow them to use Google or Grammarly on an assignment, I don't see any reason not to allow them to use ChatGPT.

I was heartbroken this weekend to learn of the passing of my friend, colleague, and co-author @DarrilGibson.
Those of you who knew Darril know that he was a kind soul who dedicated his professional career first to the service of his nation and then to the cybersecurity community.
Darril was a gifted educator and author who helped thousands of people earn their certifications.
Rest in peace, Darril. You leave behind a world that is a better place because you were part of it. You will be missed.
