Low 40s and even a few upper 30s starting to show up in the NJ Pinelands just before 8pm. Beautiful outside right now. Will see what's happening in the morning. Good night.
Not often that you see the 72-hour precipitation forecast from @NWSMARFC with absolutely nothing on it. This will most likely be a common occurrence through this week and perhaps beyond. Beautiful mid-autumn weather inbound! 🍂
Temperatures across the NJ Pinelands are going to have a nice dip after sunset with any breeze going relatively calm. Almost dead calm away from the immediate coast by 8pm.

I had a low of 37° at my house in Willingboro. The grass temp probe I have dropped to 33°. I wasn’t up to see if there was frost, but based on my cameras, looks like there was little if any. The bogs are an entirely different animal 🥶

Good frost this morning but did not hit freezing. Canaan went to 18°
Typical spots in South Jersey reached 32° or lower this morning. Some PWS out in the Pines of Burlington County fell into the upper twenties. Should be a beautiful mid-October day! 🍂 Enjoy!
It's all about the wind speed tonight through sunrise tomorrow morning. Seeing sub 5mph this early is not making the folks in Cranberry Country comfortable.

🌡️The NWS and I agree - There will be too much wind for frost Saturday night in the Pine Barrens.
Assuming that, I don't see another frost chance until November. That'll put us behind schedule for inland areas. #NJwx
Pulling out of Ocean Spray after delivering another load of Cranberries then trucking north through Chatsworth on Cranberry Festival Eve! Happy Friday!

Check out a cranberry bog in Burlington County, New Jersey...
New Jersey ranks third in the country for producing cranberries.
They're just behind Wisconsin and Massachusetts.
We got to see them harvest the cranberries live on @FOX29philly

The markets are now offering fresh cranberries for sale. I enjoyed fresh cranberries (raw) last November. They are brilliant. I regret waiting so long to try them as is. The benefits without the extra sugar. Happy Harvesting. Happy Eating.

A breezy & rainy Sunday is on the way for NJ. What a difference from two years ago when we were enduring severe drought conditions during harvest. This will be another nice soaker for NJ. ☔️
