🚨🗞️ 2026 will forever be remembered as the year the @officialgaa made a total and complete bollox of itself. I was asked to compile a list of 10 atrocities that have occurred this year.
1. After having its trousers pulled down by the @AFL again and again, now in a public humiliation ritual the GAA are looking to bring back compromised rules.
2. They have destroyed all POTY credibility by running a “Let Someone Else Win One For A Change” campaign for ROD. A massive boycott happening as we speak.
3. Allowing Kevin McStay to introduce new rules despite no one in the country wanting this. He’s hated in Mayo even.
4. Not banning Michael Murphy for two years after sucker punching a defenseless Kerry defender.
5. Giving team mascots All-Ireland medals now.
6. Allowing Mayo to charge children €30 for a picture with the Sam Maguire at Christmas. 🎅
7. Not banning Jim McGuinness for talking to poor Tommy Rooney like he was a street hooker asking him a question. 🪁
8. Played that shit Kingfishr song 22,539 times.
9. Destroyed the provincial championships by giving teams no benefit to winning it. Ulster and Connacht were especially shite.
10. Not opening a full investigation into the financial doping that we all know occurred in Dublin. Once it stopped Dublin look absolute shite again. Is it a coincidence? I think not. #tailteanncup

Not a GAA man in Mayo that would rather have ROD on their club team than DC. These facts aren’t for everyone of course. When all else fails ye always delusion.
Expect the lowest TV ratings in decades. People sick of “the biggest losers finally won” national tour. Fed up with it they are. The whole thing is a bit sick actually.

🚨🗞️They’ve lost their “lustre” because they’re giving ROD Player of the Year so Mayo supporters get another little feel good story before ripping off kids at Christmas.
Going on a 6 month national tour, selling a dozen books and charging children €30 for pictures with the Sam Maguire wasn’t enough, they had to have the awards rigged too. Will they be on the Late Late Show next week with their All Stars? And Aidan O’Shea crying. Or dancing around at another music festival like a pack of freaks.
The GAA is the only sports organization in the world that doesn’t give a fuck about its own product. It’s sickening.
