It is from the mundane ordinary things that you get to properly understand Nigeria. Drilling a deep water well costs at least $100m but here is the regulator inviting licence winners to come for a 2 day “training”. Who has $100m to spend (with no guarantee of success) and needs “training” on what to do next? From this we can infer the kind of people who have been awarded the licences…
So you bidded for an oil block, you won, you’ve paid the signature bonus and have been awarded a lease. So what’s the next step? In the past, many companies were unable to develop their blocks because they lacked the commercial or technical capability. The consequence of this was that these assets sat idle, depriving the Nigerian people of jobs and the government of revenue. To change this trend, the NUPRC is for the next two days holding an onboarding programme for the latest awardees of the Petroleum Prospecting Licence (PPL). Subject matter experts with decades of experience drawn from various departments in the NUPRC as well as external facilitators will provide new licensees with the knowledge that will take them from exploration to first oil. The entire 2-day event will be streamed live on our social media pages. Follow the NUPRC on X, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram to be part of it. youtube.com/live/2xa9l6ULhsA…

If you believe anyone deserves to be k!lled over anything that’s not a violent crime, then you have one or two loose screws in your head.
I'm not a religious fanatic, but you have to be a fool to believe that because a couple kissed, they'll be beheaded. You guys keep flying the narrative that they were killed because of a forehead kiss. Does it make any sense

Address your fellow Muslims please. No one outside that religion thinks it is okay
I don't know how to make people understand that a public PDA is not enough grounds for a beheading. You are not god.

You overrate Nigerian leaders, even with the answer, these people don't have it in them. The answers are abound but implementing them means progress and progress is not what we do in Nigeria. – at Huddinge, Sverige

This is why it is so alarming to see more Muslims in Europe. If they reach critical mass, they’d import this shit here, too. They already do honour killings
Trending Story: Saudi Arabia has exe/cuted two Bangladeshi nationals, Nazrul Islam Abdul Basir and Siri Akhtar, following conviction of immoral sexual act inside a mosque in Mecca. The “immoral act” was apparently a kiss on the forehead. They were newlyweds who decided to spend their honeymoon in Mecca. According to reports in Bangladesh, Saudi authorities refused to consider they were a couple, and the forehead kiss was an expression of appreciation to Allah for a beautiful bride. Their bodies have arrived in Bangladesh in two coffins for traditional burial rites. Follow @TrendingEx for dailies..

We need to start seeing unification bouts. Dubois should fight Kabayel or Hrgovic and someone should take the belt off Gassiev, perhaps the winner of Fury vs Joshua. – at Huddinge, Sverige

yeah there is a paucity of top heavyweights at the moment but Usyk vs Kabayel would have been a good one. I think Itauma, despite his recent loss would also have been a good fight.

The bar for prophecy is too low. “A minister will die soon” is not prophecy.
