I'm not child-less, but I am child-free. They're all adults now. My husband and I are financially secure without dependents. We can do whatever we want with our free time.
My copy of Rules of Prey will arrive today. I'll probably read it in one sitting after dinner. If I dig it, I'll be ordering more of the series. And since my oldest is also into thrillers and killers, she'll want a go at them next 😆
I love cop shows and procedurals. Am I pro cop? No. Does the FICTIONAL representation of them make me in any way sympathetic to them? Also, no. It's fiction. It's storytelling. It's entertainment.
So someone I don't know QTd me and then blocked me? My kids are grown. I'm not dealing with somebody else's children 🙄
And? I don't need to be liked by strangers or mild acquaintances. Take me at face value or walk on. I don't expect people to change for me so I'm not going to change for them. I have exactly one filter and that's to not use expletives around my grandchildren.
I think Dale has a humiliation kink and y'all are out here Domming him for free.
I guess I could see the benefit of being quiet if the word "premeditated" doesn't enter the chat 🤔
Look, you wanna be a tradwife? You do you, honey. But my brothers, sister, and I ALL learned how to cook, clean, sew, do home repairs, and do car maintenance. So we were never in a position to rely on someone else. Teach self-sufficiency.
It should be required for girls to take classes on cooking, household management, pregnancy, childbirth, child development, and childcare that would prepare them to be housewives, because many women realize that they want to become a housewife as adult who didn’t consider it when they were children.
We don’t let children decide whether or not they want to learn math, we just make it mandatory because we know there are a lot of jobs and other situations they may encounter in the future where it’s important to understand math.
Being a housewife is the most common “job” for women in America, so we should just automatically include those relevant classes as mandatory for girls.
I have the First Amendment right to say ICE can gargle my balls. I don't physically adorn testicles upon my person, but the sentiment is real. It's not hate speech because ICE agents are not a protected class of citizens. And it's an invitation, not a threat ✌️
BREAKING:
The US says it will arrest all people who criticize ICE on social media.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
DHS sought user data via subpoenas from tech firms on anonymous accounts posting potential threats or tracking ICE agents—not arrests for criticizing ICE. No policy targets all critics.

Women of a certain age: One of the biggest mistakes you can make is giving a single fuck about someone else's opinion.
Women of a certain age: One of the biggest mistake you make is thinking that hairstyles for younger women flatter you.
They don't. They really, really don't. They look ridiculous, try-hard, and they make you appear insecure and silly.
If you're a lady of 50 or over, you just can't get away with it. I don't care what your middle aged girlfriends tell you-they're lying. All of you are prone to falling into trends and gassing each other up with lies.
I'm a gay man, and I'll tell you the truth.
These au courant styles look terrible on you. Especially the "messy" ones. You are wasting the beauty you do have as an older woman.
Your best bets?
-Shoulder length pageboy (many variations, parted on the side
-Similar, but with a soft wave roller set. Groomed. Think updated 1950s
And if you have long hair, for god's sake, put it UP. Long flowing hair is for younger women. It's always been a sign of the maiden, not the matriarch.
Wear it in a twist. Put it in a tasteful chignon at the nape (see M. Trump). Something like that.
Older women who wear these styles command respect, admiration, and the room.
-Uncle Josh
You know what's sexy as hell? Confidence. Rock your body. Feel good. No size limit.

All of them. I can even fix cassette and VHS tapes. And I've developed film in a darkroom in art class.
