Today we remember the late, great Ray Wilkins on what would have been his 70th birthday.
Rest in peace, Ray. 💙

Completely unacceptable performance by Chelsea. Embarrassing. No organisation, no heart, no fight, no pride, no leadership, no goal threat. It’s like they’ve given up at Brighton. Just because they’re near the beach doesn’t mean they’re allowed to be on it. Shameless performance. No wonder the fans are furious. These aren’t useless players, they’re internationals, which makes their abject showing at the Amex even worse. Overpaid underperformers.
Liam Rosenior will probably pay the price for this string of shameful displays and results, he’s out of his depth, but he’s the symptom of the malaise at Chelsea, not the cause. Club needs some grown-ups, experienced football people in the boardroom, in the recruitment department and in the dressing-room. Chelsea are such a contrast to Brighton & Hove Albion, who are so well-run on and off the field. BlueCo has to look, listen and learn. Because Boehly and Eghbali are currently overseeing a self-inflicted shambles. #CFC

Dreams are made of occasions like this. Times when you stand shoulder to shoulder like a true team and win together.
@LukeDonald led like he did in Rome but with more armour, power, knowledge and experience. He deserves all the credit, we were just the pieces on a chess board.
It’s an honour to receive the Nicklaus/Jacklin award and bringing 4 points home to the team but to be honest I’d do anything for this group of incredibly special human beings!! Love this Team, and always will!!! My heart is 💙💙💙💙 @RyderCupEurope

GB News listeners / viewers represent a huge and growing number of the electorate…
….ignore them at your peril 😊
Last year, union leaders at the TUC congress snubbed @GBNEWS. This year, they’ve been queuing up to speak to us. “Well you’re Britain’s largest news channel, we’ve seen the figures” — says one.
Thank you to all our viewers who have made us a force to be reckoned with 🔥

Congratulations to my son Rob for completing the #LondonMarathon whilst bouncing a tennis ball for @macmillancancer Beat JT apparently!
My son Rob is fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support. He will be running in the London Marathon in support of his dad, my husband, who has terminal cancer. This photo was taken at Rob’s wedding, a week before Dave’s diagnosis. @JustGiving #JustGiving justgiving.com/page/robert-b…

Thanks @Waterstones for taking a Christmas order for something you haven’t got in stock. Apologising when I called that no one had notified me of the delay and advising me it would be a little late - May! Cancelled. Granddaughter won’t now have her present. What a joke.
