You know, I might actually have time to get a few professional certifications. Which have served you well recently?

Previously: sure boss, I'll get that certification if you give me work time to study, and cover the exam Today: No one was paying me for the cert. But now no one is paying me for anything. LFG!

Excited to have some time to delve into some of the changes coming out of the FedCM working group. It feels OIDC scale transformation.

It's only a backup if you've proven it can get back up. Otherwise, it's a down load.

Awesome question. Some thoughts: Folks backup but NEVER test restoring Folks don’t have a formal RPO/RTO acronis.com/en-us/blog/posts… Folks don’t have assigned disaster recovery job/person or a written plan for when ish goes down Folks have WAY more permissions than they should

There's a set diagram to be imagined: projects for me, projects for my future hiring manager, and those at the intersection. Should I list a few candidates?

I'd like to take on 1-2 technical projects per week, start to finish. Use some new tools. Share the journey. Update the resume.

Taking it from the top. For myriad reasons the past ~5yrs, I've not been engaged in most social media. I find myself casting for the next job, and rebooting some old habits. Hello, World.

In 2021 I stepped back from years delivering cloud solutions to diverse industries, to dedicate a couple years to parenting at home. From 2023 I had the pleasure of working in EdTech again with some great peers and an admirable mission. Now I cast my gaze to the horizon anew.

Junior folks sometimes get into a demoralized headspace where Seniors seem like our knowledge/ability to spot a solution is magic. It’s not, we’ve just seen that before. Further: we’ve broken that before.

Y'all. Seriously. Hardly anyone even understands the unbelievable depth of Tolkien's linguistic genius. If ever there was an artist just straight up making jokes that only he would ever get, omg. So get this, it's epic. You know the "Brandywine River" in Lord of the Rings?

NASA has not held a media briefing on Starliner's Crew Flight Test in 11 days. This is unreal given that it is a test flight, and there are huge questions about how this mission will end.

Sure it would certainly be helpful to learn these things and I still plan to, but to say that knowing these terms is necessary to have an opinion on programming is nothing more than gatekeeping fueled by a misplaced sense of superiority
