Top 4’d Vintage Champs and Top 32’d Legacy Champs!! What a wild weekend of wonderful opponents and great topdecks ☺️ Used the winnings to justify picking up a very exciting Magic card

This month marks 10 years of me playing MTGO! Definitely the best decision I've ever made for leveling up at Magic.

There's three things we can show off today, but more is in the works. First, there's a leaderboard for players with zero pro matches. We get asked for this from time to time. mtgeloproject.net/leaders/am…

MTG Elo Project - MTG Elo Project - Elo leaders

Highest-rated players, measured either by current or peak rating.

With the Fantasticar restriction, I have been having an absolute blast playing Vintage. The format feels to be in a great spot. Just thought you all should know

I've been working on a guide for my Dimir Moonshadow list for a while and I'm glad to announce that it's finally out (for free!) It has 5k words and delves into the sideboarding plans, deckbuilding philosophy, and gives many tips and tricks. drive.google.com/file/d/1aPo… @fireshoes

First outing with Bilbo in Vintage and scored a 5-0 🏆, beating a pretty diverse field! In my opinion, Lotus petal continues to be underrated in these sorts of decks, but maybe Bilbo's synergies will be enough to sell people on it

Big news - I’m finally fully powered! A heartfelt thank you to the people who lent me their power to play in the Eternal Weekends whose prizing made this a possibility

Just won the #mtglegacy showcase challenge! This deck is very underplayed for how powerful it is. (it is a lot of clicks online). Managed to dodge the fantasticar all day but was prepared with two ratchet bomb effects in the 75. ps wotc pls ban fantasticar

Regardless of how you feel about whether Candleabra of Tawnos was the right card to ban from the Legacy Tron deck, I think the most interesting takeaway is the subtext that WotC doesn’t want the best deck in Legacy to contain 4 copies of a $4000 card.

Since they can’t explicitly talk about secondary market value of their cards, my read of the announcement is they wanted to slightly nerf the Tron deck in power while bringing the deck cost in line with other Legacy decks, and both could be achieved by banning Candelabra.

After playing some fantasticar in vintage last night, my takeaway is that it has serious “oops” vibes (derogatory)
