- Luuuuukkkkkeeeeee is flyyyyyiiinnggggg
- Lombardi just looking incredible
- Solid effort from the whole lineup tonight
- Daws with a great game, glad the boys finally scored some in front of him
Kid could always skate but the confidence he’s shown this season, moving like this game after game, is him putting it all together. Breakout szn time young goat
- Grits looks fantastic with 86 and 63. Mantha again looks more comfortable on a slower checking line
- Powerplay is clicking, Evangelista is good with them but it’s clearly better with a shooting threat in Timo in my opinion
- Tried to force passes to the bumper too much on the PP
- Physicality early was nice to see personally. Bad call on Dillon, Mantha stupid hit
- Luke was fine but he needs to be harder on the puck rims in the zone. Trying to pick it up with too much finesse
6/10 vs. Mammoth post-game notes:
- Brutal PK (albeit against league’s best PP and some brutal calls tn)
- Dougie, Pesce, Dillon look bad
- Luke has been Dev’s best player so far this season. So good. Chesholm still solid
- Why does it always look like someone is missing an assignment in the slot in the dzone. Figure it out
- Stop ripping it at the goalie’s chest
Post-game notes of the boys:
- Luke Hughes looked incredible. Lockdown on defence and was buzzing with the puck
- Mantha looked out of place often just like everybody who starts playing with Bratt and JHugh. Hopefully he adjusts soon
- Grits fantastic as always
- ERod solid despite being -2. Absolute snipe onto the side of the net was electric. Looks like the new designated faceoff guy
- Love Noesen but he’s not fast enough compared to the rest, getting Boqvist out there will help the rest of that line, esp Lombardi
