I work out, my HRV drops, and then an app tells me to meditate. A hard training session and a hard month at work can look the same in the data. The signal is real. What it means depends on the person. Do you trust the score on your wrist?
Just permanently deleted the @Google iOS app.
Why: I searched in Safari. At first it just nagged me to open the Google app. But then it automatically opened the Google app when I clicked on images. I never have it such permissions.

BREAKING: Volkswagen announces a European rival to Tesla’s “flying” Roadster
Some insane confirmed features:
1. Top speed limited to 110 km/h
2. Automatically reports speeding to authorities
3. Automatically turns off the AC if outside temperature is below 35°C
4. Car will not start when public transport option exists on your route
5. Built-in system reminds you how much CO₂ your trip produced
Launch expected after EU regulatory approval in 2068
It is truly completely over for Tesla
Our phone used to ring in the middle of the night. It was for my father, a psychiatrist. People called when they could not go on, almost never in the weeks before. Work has the same pattern. Who should start that conversation first: the person, the manager or HR?

AI was supposed to make us work less
I've never been this tired in my life
most days I have up to 10 agents running at the same time. one fixing a bug, one writing pages, one refactoring something I already forgot I asked for, 3 other I have no idea what they are doing but i suppose i ask it?
and I jump from conversation to conversation all day
compared to 5 years ago, I probably context switch 100x more
by the end of the day my brain is fried. completely toasted. nothing left, not even for the people I love
I call it the fried brain effect
thought it was just me but almost every founder I talk to lately says the exact same thing
we got superpowers, and somehow the pressure only went up. if you can ship 10x more, you feel like you have to ship 10x more. every single day
I don't have a solution
honestly I have no idea where this goes from here
anyone else feeling this?
Had an amazing onboarding day at McDonald’s at Neuchâtel centre. Thanks guys for a welcoming and productive day.

🚨 NO eID
EU citizens should never accept, and never use, the eID.
Denmark: national ID data on 8.8 million people, taken via a firm the state had already trusted with access.
That is what digital ID looks like when it fails.

Have you ever heard such BS.
Implement Draghi’s structural reforms to align banking / capital markets and you might have a chance.
The reality is the EU has achieved nothing in this regard since the last Eurozone sovereign debt crisis (not the current one).

My Swiss bank blocked my attempt to buy CHF 1,000 of Bitcoin.
Reason? "For your protection. Transactions involving cryptocurrencies carry significant risks, and we’re unable to process this payment."
The same bank is perfectly happy to offer credit cards charging around 12% interest and other forms of consumer debt.
So risking CHF 1,000 of my own money is considered irresponsible...
…but taking on tens of thousands of francs in interest-bearing debt is a perfectly acceptable financial decision.
Interesting how "protecting customers" seems to depend on which financial product you're choosing. 🤡🌍
Thanks for sharing this @levelsio it’s tragic how regulation is destroying people’s livelihoods. Governments keep growing and imposing more laws restricting freedom and destroying business opportunities.
🇪🇺 EU bankruptcies have now reached the highest level since they started measuring them in 2019
Meanwhile new EU business registrations have been stagnant or decreasing
I discovered this after another one of the interior design stores in the Netherlands we bought from suddenly disappeared off the internet, luckily we already received the stuff we ordered (a big stone table) and dodged a bullet
Quite expensive stuff and their Trustpilot is full of "where's my €7000 table". This is the second interior design store we bought from that went bankrupt just after we received our things, very interesting
So I started looking at EU bankruptcies and discovered they're skyrocketing and new business registrations are stagnant or decreasing
They really managed to regulate and tax away any existing business while making people give up to even think of starting a business in Europe

Switzerland wants every messaging app, VPN,
and email service over 5000 users to grab your government ID,
log your IP for six months, and decrypt your traffic on demand.
They're doing it by decree, skipping the vote.
The privacy capital, gone.

This post is misleading, as Switzerland’s VÜPF was already overhauled with the 2018 BÜPF revision after a failed referendum; the current proposal is a 2025 partial update that faced heavy backlash, was sent back for revision, and remains a draft. It is not in force.

I got a popup from Apple Pages for a star rating prompt. I wanted to give it 1 star because let's face it it's not a good app. You open a docx file and you cannot even safe it without making a new file. But when I clicked 1 star, it didn't accept the submit button, only cancel worked. @AppleSupport is this by mistake or design?
Amazing well done @tony_m_kim
