Ho fatto un esperimento mai fatto - mi pare - da nessuno. Ho preso cinque giorni di rassegne stampa della Camera dei deputati, 2.142 articoli, e li ho contati tutti, testata per testata, livello per livello. Poi ho incrociato i numeri con i pezzi pubblicati dai giornali. Ne è uscita la prima misurazione di quanto i quotidiani vengono letti lì dove si decide, altro che edicola. I risultati ribaltano le gerarchie che conosciamo, e ogni numero è verificabile: metodo dichiarato, cinque grafici, una settimana di conteggi. I have never understood the massive economic divide in Italy. Why is the North with its various industries one of the wealthiest areas in Europe, but the South so extremely poor? Same country, same language, same laws and taxes. Can someone please explain?

Italians still keep moving away from Italy. That’s one reason why youth unemployment improved over the last decade (there are just no young Italians left to be unemployed). Germany remains the top destination. HT @maps_interlude
