Sat back against a team that don’t run in behind at all, exactly what Southgate would’ve done, and exactly why we’ve always fallen at the last hurdle

To everyone involved at @CongletonFC can’t thank you all enough for the last 3 years. Couldn’t ask for a better set of lads to play with and fans to play in front of every week, can honestly say it’s the most I’ve enjoyed football in my career. All the best 🐻💛

One of my other picks for the @NonLeaguePaper review of 2025.
The wonder goal by @maxmccarthy63 for @CongletonFC during an league meeting with @TheDabbers was the best I saw in person.
Max scores so many worldies that he probably has his own list, but that one topped mine.

I appreciate it’s an expensive time of the year, any donations will be massively appreciated so I can get back on the pitch as soon as possible 🤍
🤍 After suffering an ACL injury recently, @GregsonHarvey is raising funds to cover the cost of his surgery.
🗣️ “After sustaining an ACL injury in a recent game against Oxford City it means I require surgery, not being with the PFA this means I would have to pay privately to get back playing as quick as possible. Along with being out of work and not being able to play football, this cost has made things a bit more difficult so any donations would be greatly appreciated.”
You can donate to Harvey’s GoFundMe page below 👇
The club will also be supporting Harvey.
