Think seeds are a big problem. Debuted it on fyrakk and they’ve been on every endboss since except for dimenseus. That’s 5 out of the last 6 bosses where 20-50% of the raid have a mechanic where if they get hit by anything or do something wrong everyone dies.
No bro you don’t understand they took the war out of Warcraft. When they announced night fae in shadowlands I didn’t talk to anyone for over a week.

Forever is just going to be Animal Crossing for the mid-30s gamer who wants a cozy game but doesn’t want to admit they want a cozy game.
Plenty of Retail players will jump in, enjoy it, and stay active. But plenty will also go back to Retail, or play both, because they still want competitive, mechanically demanding, and mentally challenging gameplay.
I still feel like they are the same thing personally. I also don’t see the relevance of them working for Blizzard, I don’t think they would get any special treatment.
Can’t do what? The guilds that are all competing all have access to this, as cringe as it is. Unless you’re implying the legendary argument of there are a lot of guilds that could compete skillwise , but they can’t because they don’t have helpers
Like eight years ago in this guild, we really tried hard to force calling everyone by their irl name. Something like someone mentioned at BlizzCon, it was weird calling everyone by their in-game name IRL (it’s not). It was really cringe and only lasted about a month or two.
I don’t even care about new classic really but I’ve been seeing this take all over my feed for some reason. I could be wrong. but to me it just seems like the same psychology that makes people anti-streamer in the first place. “Why does this guy get something that I don’t?”
I don’t think most people are upset necessarily about the RMT specifically as much as it just being unfair.
Getting traded gold by fans or buying it with dollars is net the same thing they have something you don’t because of some bullshit.
It evokes the same negative feeling.
I can't believe people are getting this upset over streamers accepting trades from random people.
It's not "RMT". The streamers aren't paying a single penny for this gold.
If some random person came up to you and said "hey man I'm a huge fan of your work, here is $100 for being cool..." 99% of you would instantly take it.

I turned 29 today and safe to say the past 2 years have been the best of my life.
2 years ago I remember celebrating my birthday with the Guild in Santa Monica during Nerub-ar Palace after riding the high of killing Nexus Princess Kyveza. In these 2 years I became the Co-GM of the Guild, I've won 5 race to world firsts in a row, seen my closest friends win BlizzCon MDI, I worked on myself and lost 60lbs, I redecorated my apartment to finally display all my statues and swords, I led negotiations for a great new 5 year deal between Team Liquid and the Guild and met so many new friends along the way.
I love my entire guild and have them all to thank for getting me through these years but I'd like to specifically thank @Boomiexd for not only being my closest friend but for picking up so many tasks that I couldn't cope with at the height of prep and negotiating. It's not a coincidence he joined at the start of the Liquid dynasty. One of my favourite parts of my position is bragging about how good my players are and at BlizzCon I had the privilege of sitting with Boomie’s wonderful girlfriend and family to watch him win MDI, all while getting to tell them just how impactful he has been to the team's success and how he's grown into an impactful leader in the Guild.
A lot of people asked me at BlizzCon how we overcame the “despair” of waking up to an almost certain loss and somehow won. For this I’ll refer to Tolkien’s words:
“It is not despair, for despair is only for those who see the end beyond all doubt. We do not. It is wisdom to recognize necessity, when all other courses have been weighed, though as folly it may appear to those who cling to false hope. Well, let folly be our cloak, a veil before the eyes of the Enemy!“

This is what I’ve been saying, as few changes as possible and make it like the core game as much as we can. Any change closer to retail is a mistake. We want to FEEL the friction. You should WANT to wait in line. Let the skill shine #skill

Go play retail. They have all the modern tagging systems, sharding, LFG and all that other stuff already there.

was thinking about playing classic forever but as a lot of you know i'm pretty strictly no changes and after some of my own research there is a fair amount of stuff different.
Another hot take I have is that listening to the Community is a trap a lot of the times. All of the greatest pieces of ip in gaming that we have experienced was just someone making a game they thought was awesome. I think if you become married to the idea that you just have to cherry pick all of these ideas your Community has come up with you’re fighting a losing battle because the community isn’t all in agreement on what they want
