As always, @NatBullard 's annual deck on decarbonization is a trove of insights. Maybe missing one slide on the fertility crisis. The impact could be much bigger than Ozempic. xitter.cf/NatBullard/status/1884…
My annual decarbonization presentation is here. 200 slides, covering everything from water levels in Lake Gatún to sulfur dioxide emissions to ESG fund flows to Chinese auto exports to artificial intelligence. Link in reply

A few of my favorite charts from the recent IEA Global EV Outlook 2024 report. This chart shows that EV flows tend to stay within region. For example, EVs sold in China are mostly made in China using mostly Chinese battery cells. Also true for Europe and North America. 1/ 🧵

It's here: my annual presentation on decarbonization. There is a lot going on, and I attempt to capture it in 200 slides. Ocean heat content, deforestation, fund performance, vehicle efficiency, lighting technology, GLP-1 agonists, and much more. nathanielbullard.com/present…

German day ahead prices drop to -500 €/MWh at 2 pm. Yes, minus 500. That's the lowest price in several years, if I recall correctly. If you have a dynamic pricing retail contract, charging your EV will earn you smth like €50. epexspot.com/en/market-data
