I’m extremely excited to announce that I’m committed to continuing my academic & baseball career at the University of Iowa! I’d like to thank my family, coaches, teachers, & my trainer for all they’ve done to help me become a better player & person. Go Hawks!🐤🖤 #Hellerball

Raider Tello, an All-American at Pasadena City College in 2022 and a Philadelphia Phillies prospect, has the distinction of homering in both his Double-A and Triple-A debuts. He hit a grand slam on July 2 for Reading, then this bomb upon being promoted to Lehigh Valley tonight.

What a Double-A debut for Raider Tello ⭐️
He reached base four times and hit his first career grand slam in his inaugural game in a Fightin Phils uniform!
Since the R-Phils scored more than four runs tonight, fans get 50% off @PapaJohns Pizza tomorrow using code "RPHILS50" 🍕

Raider Tello was just promoted to Reading today, and his first AA hit is a splash down grand slam. Tello, an undrafted free agent, is a career .275 hitter in the minors, but this is just his second homer in 41 games this season
