Found something crazy, Before Zcash. Before Bitcoin. There was MOJO.
In 2000, Zcash founder Zooko Wilcox was one of the cypherpunks building Mojo Nation — an experimental decentralized P2P network.
And Mojo Nation had something crazy for the year 2000:
its own digital currency: $MOJO.
Users could earn Mojo tokens by providing bandwidth and disk space, then spend those tokens for resources across the network. Contemporary coverage literally described users “spending Mojo tokens” and discussed exchangers potentially trading Mojo for dollars. WIRED

New research involving @AnthropicAI researcher Jack Lindsey and collaborators has demonstrated something straight out of science fiction.
