It's not every day the Secretary General of a health professionals' association credits a story you broke with helping to change Government policy and The Chancellor's Budget within days of it being released. Journalism still matters. #IR35 #LoanChargeAPPG bit.ly/2vDJfEQ

I was honoured to work with Martti Pärssinen, Alceu Ranzi and Fabio de Novaes to feature their spectacular LIDAR discoveries in the Amazon in Season 2 of my controversial Netflix docuseries Ancient Apocalypse (released October 2024). I have remained in close and friendly contact with the team and their ongoing work ever since and congratulate them on their newly published open-access paper in Nature which is linked at the end of the report in Science Alert below: sciencealert.com/completely-…

Replying to @SoilManDan
@soilmandan @Graham__Hancock Blocking someone then questioning their professional ethics is poor. My article covered neo-Nazi video, white supremacist use of GH’s work, and academic criticism. Right of reply isn't 'softballing'; it's ethical reporting. express.co.uk/news/world/196…

At the very least, there's irony in accusing someone of “dog whistling” while making a coded insinuation. If Dan thinks a phrase carries specific meaning, he should say so plainly & explain why. Don’t hint, block when challenged, & then question someone’s professional ethics.

This brought a smile to my face. Then I burst out laughing. You'll need to watch until the end to find out why... I do love a bit of disregard for the rules. #Sliema #Malta

Great to see @FlintDibble @DeDunkingPast @BrightInsight6 and Milo Rossi joining @piersmorgan and sharing some common ground - and respectfully disagreeing on other points.

The only time in history we had decent living conditions for ordinary people was when we taxed the very rich. These two things are connected.

Gary Stevenson aka @garyseconomics is a trader. He made millions betting the super rich will keep on getting richer, while the rest of us keep on getting poorer. Living standards are collapsing because of this transfer or wealth.
When has taxing the rich ever worked?

Heroes, one and all. Remembering the brave men from Mousehole, including my cousin Kevin, who gave their lives trying to save the lives of others, on this day in 1981. Also thinking of all the loved ones they left behind, who are also no longer with us. #RNLI #PenleeLifeboat

Europe's first 'mega settlements' emerged around 7,000 years ago - and were regularly and deliberately burned down by residents. Archaeologists say people moved to these early urban areas for the same reasons we move to cities today. #Archaeology express.co.uk/news/world/198…
