When I got in this race more than a year ago, I knew this wasn’t going to be easy. But I love our community and I love New Hampshire. I got married here. I gave birth to my children here. I’ve been a military spouse here. This community rallied around me when my husband was deployed overseas with the Navy and I was expecting our first child.
Through it all, I have seen time and again the strength and goodness of the people of our state, and it is for our community that I am still in this fight and that I will remain in this fight. For your kids, and for mine, and for this country we all love.
I want to congratulate Stefany Shaheen on winning the Democratic nomination. She is a dedicated Granite Stater, and I’m proud to offer her my full support over these next 55 days.
I also want to say a huge thank you to the hundreds of volunteers and local leaders who endorsed our campaign, hosted house parties, knocked on doors, made phone calls, chipped in 5 dollars, baked a dessert for a canvass kick-off, or held a sign. You believed in change, in hope, in service, and that even in these dark times in our country, politics could be fun, and even joyful again. I will always be incredibly grateful for your trust and support.
I want to thank my incredible team. I couldn’t be more proud of the movement for change that we build together from the ground up. Your commitment to fighting day in and day out for this beloved country of ours will forever inspire me.
Finally, I want to thank my wonderful family. My amazing husband, Marc, and our darling children – my pride and joy and dream come true – and my parents, siblings, and extended family. Service is truly a family commitment and sacrifice. I am so grateful for your love and support today and always, and I love you very much.
There’s a lot of work to do between now and Election Day, and I will be working to make sure we elect Democrats up and down the ballot so we can stand up to Trump, root out corruption, and finally build an economy that works for the working people of New Hampshire.
Our fight together continues for our incredible state and the country that we love.
Onward!

Inspiring to be in Dover recently with my good friend Senator David Watters, a lifelong servant leader who has given so much to our community. It was great to be in the foxhole together again, launching the canvass and knocking doors for an incredible slate of candidates up and down the ticket. Thank you to everyone who came out! #nhpolitics
Wonderful to be with Linda, Sheila, and so many friends in Manchester Ward 1 this week to support Jim O'Connell for Executive Council & Dian McCarthy for State Senate. Jim and Dian have each spent close to a decade serving on the school boards in their respective communities. Terrific energy in the room - people are fired up for new leadership in Concord. Thank you to Lisa and John Scachi, and Kay and Mark Mulcahy for opening their lovely home, and to Jim and Dian for stepping up to continue their journeys of service. #nhpolitics
Amazing start to the day in the Queen City with my friends Alderman @JuneTrisciani and State Senate candidate and Navy veteran @LeonardBellNH, kicking off a canvass and firing up volunteers to hit the doors for the Democratic ticket!
Great energy in the room — and now out on the doors. 🚪💪
Thank you to everyone who showed up and put in the work today. YOU are what drives change in our state and our country, and I’m proud to be in this fight right alongside you. 🇺🇸 #NHpolitics

We are just over a month out from a critical election, and it was great to spend the day earlier this week knocking doors with my friend and Navy Veteran Leonard Bell in Manchester Ward 6. Leonard is running to flip State Senate District 18 and is exactly the kind of servant leader we need right now in Concord – someone with a demonstrated commitment to service and a track record of leadership who is stepping up once again to serve our country and community.
New Hampshire will be stronger for Leonard’s continued service. Join us on the doors over these next few weeks to elect leaders who share our values up and down the ticket! #NHPolitics
It is hard to believe it has been 25 years since the fateful morning of September 11, 2001—a day that changed our nation forever. None of us will ever forget where we were when what began as a beautiful September morning suddenly turned into unimaginable tragedy.
I was a newly commissioned Marine Corps Lieutenant stationed at Quantico, Virginia, in training at The Basic School.
That morning, our world, our country, and the trajectory of our service changed forever.
Today, as I do every year on this difficult anniversary, I am thinking about the innocent victims of that day—the passengers and crew aboard the four hijacked aircraft, those in the Twin Towers and at the Pentagon, and the families they left behind, whose lives would never be the same.
I think about my Marine Corps classmates, many of whom went on to play pivotal roles in the wars that followed in Iraq and Afghanistan—including one of the very best among us, who made the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq.
And I think about the more than 80 Granite Staters who gave their lives in service to our country in the wars that followed.
But on this somber anniversary, we also honor the extraordinary courage and selflessness that emerged from that terrible day.
Betty Ong and the other flight crew members and passengers who, in their final moments, alerted authorities and fought to save others. Heather Penney, the fighter pilot who prepared to take down Flight 93 in what she believed could be a suicide mission. Todd Beamer and the passengers and crew of Flight 93, whose courage undoubtedly saved countless lives.
The firefighters in New York who ran into the towers—and the 343 who never came out. The firefighters and rescue workers at the Pentagon and in Shanksville, PA. And the countless Americans who ran toward danger when everyone else was running away.
And, in the months and years that followed, the young men and women from every corner of our country who answered the call to wear the uniform of our nation.
“Look for the helpers,” Mr. Rogers famously said.
Twenty-five years later, we remember those we lost. We honor those who ran toward the danger. And we carry forward their courage, their sacrifice, and their example—not just as soldiers or first responders, but as Americans.
May we never forget.

What an unbelievable privilege it has been to run for this seat. I am grateful for all of you who took the time to share your hopes, your fears, and your dreams with me over the past 18 months.
Today, I cast my vote with my family, including our three children (who just had their first day of school!!) and I am full of gratitude and love for New Hampshire, and this country. I am in this for the next generation, my kids, and yours. This is my home and you are my people. I will always fight for you.
Thank you New Hampshire. 🗳️ #NHPolitics
