For the past month, every time I've walked past a gas station with my girlfriend, I've turned the price of gas into a spot for a fictional Ontario FM radio station

Hello! A bunch of you have found me over at the Other Place already, but this is just a reminder that I'm at the Other Place, same name, same face. – at Toronto, Ontario

OK, honest question, genuinely curious: which one is Mike Tyson – at Toronto, Ontario

(Tyson channels his entire soul & will to live into one haymaker that kills both boxers simultaneously, leaving their dead bodies in a heap) MAURO RANALLO: Mamma mia! They hit the canvas like a Jackson Pollock palette knife!! Play the White Album backwards because Paul Is Dead!! – at Toronto, Ontario

I can't believe people are still RalphNaderPosting in the year 2024. You think the handful of people who voted Jill Stein swung the election? You think those Jill Stein voters didn't know what they were doing? You think they ALL would have voted Democrat? – at Toronto, Ontario
Congratulations to everyone who made this happen. Hope that protest vote was worth it.

I'm in a "Toronto lost & found" Facebook group and someone found this photo of a bunch of guys having a lovely time at the CN Tower in their Red Wings jerseys, and wants to get it to them. Long shot, but any #LGRW fans out there recognize any of these dudes? – at Toronto, Ontario

Yusei Kikuchi wrote an interesting post about how he was jeered on the streets by fans in Toronto so bad he worried for his wife in his first year, then knew he'd finally made it when he got his own bobblehead (Google translated from Japanese) – at Toronto, Ontario

I do think that there's a certain segment of sports fans (mostly young, all male) who've gotten dumber and nastier over the past 4-5 years. I'm not talking your classic drunk hooligan, I'm talking about just a nasty parasocial streak with athletes. I'd guess betting plays a part.

The Ricochet-Ospreay-Takeshita match from WrestleDream, except it's just the parts where someone is doing a flip, and the sounds have been replaced by Link noises from "Breath Of The Wild" (cc: @Maffewgregg)

This website is so cooked. Blue check reply-bots are now just scraping the replies to popular tweets for the ones that have the most likes and are just copying the exact same thing – at Toronto, Ontario

The AI is trained to change one or two words to make the reply "original". So instead of "Money man from Shot Caller" the bot says "Cash man from Shot Caller". But the character is named "Money" not "Cash"! The bots are copying and BOTCHING tweets and appearing at the top

Some time in the next year - maybe in October 2025, maybe next week - there will be an election called and Pierre Poilievre will win a majority in a landslide according to every single poll. You're just uprooting your life to trade in Coke for Diet Coke. – at Toronto, Ontario

Canadians are watching America strike out on three pitches as if we're not standing in the goddamn On-Deck circle, due up momentarily, with a bum wrist and no way to hit fascism's curveball.
