It's like a mentality of 'I'll let the cattle reproduce. They can keep up the population but I don't want to raise more than one,' it seems like an abdication of responsibility for our nation's future direction that I just can't get behind.
If you have the means to do it, its crazy to me to not have at least 2.1 kids. You can say 'I did my part. I met replacement rate. Meeting replacement rate should be the bare minimum. If you plan on dying you should at least replace yourself."
