A quick poll for people living in England (with apologies to everyone else).
If we had PR rather than FPTP, and your vote counted 100% no matter which constituency you lived in, what party would you vote for at the next general election?
Please RT for a bigger sample. Thanks.

📈 Our already extortionate rail fares will rise yet again on Sunday.
💰 Private rail companies are raking in profit for running expensive and unreliable services.
💚 We would nationalise our railways and run services for people, not profit.

So, I find myself 30ft in the air up a tree in Wellingborough- surrounded by police, security & tree surgeons- trying to prevent an illegal tree felling. How did I end up here? Here’s an outrageous story of nature destruction & collusion between authorities & private developer 🧵

I want to see Brexit reversed, PR introduced, authoritarian laws repealed, end of non-dom, tax haven & tax avoidance, proper public sector pay, NHS fully funded & staffed, & government dedicated to the public good not the partisan interests of donors & self-seeking politicians.

Hmmm. I just had a bizarre experience, involving a global news organisation and a trillion dollar corporation. (I got caught in the middle, so... owch.)
It’s not the sort of experience the people involved usually talk about in public… so I think I’ll talk about it in public.

No immigrant has taken your job. You were laid off by a capitalist who required cheap labor and took advantage of that immigrant to increase his profits, and nothing makes him happier than to hear you blame the immigrant and not him.
