There's a deep hesitation in Boomers and Gen X to engage with Christianity. I am here to suggest to you that it is worthy of your time.

It's relentless. Newspapers run stories declaring the glorious liberation of mid-life divorce while Hollywood and Netflix get in on the act. Why are we all being encouraged to break up our families, asks Joanna Gray. dailysceptic.org/2026/10/27/…

Marriage is a lifelong commitment, not a legal label to stretch around every adult arrangement. Scotland needs politicians who understand why stable marriages and strong families matter, especially to children.

EXCLUSIVE: Leaked Home Office counter-terrorism documents link “nostalgia for traditionalism” and fears over immigration, liberalism and multiculturalism to “Christian extremism”. Officials propose working with churches to promote “theological resilience” against the use of Christian teachings to justify hatred or violence. I obtained dozens of pages from RICU’s report on “Christian extremism”. Among the findings: • Images of happy families in wartime, peaceful countryside and classical statues are described as a “hook” towards an extremist worldview. • Tommy Robinson’s rallies and a Christmas carol concert come under scrutiny, alongside Christian fitness groups. • “Bob from Speakers’ Corner” features, despite RICU identifying no extremist content from him. Yet the report acknowledges that the threat of violence from Christian extremists remains “low”. Jeremiah Igunnubole, UK legal counsel for ADF, says the report “suggests an institutional anti-Christian bias has taken hold in the Home Office”. stevenedginton.substack.com/…

Hard to believe, in the midst of a global energy war and crisis, there are some in the UK who still argue for limiting our energy independence.
So they're causing climate damage to scrape some gas, that will be sold internationally and have no impact on our household bills. Then they're going to use the miniscule amount of tax generated to invest in renewables. Why not just invest without the climate vandalism? 🤦‍♂️

Maria is just 13 years old, trapped in a forced marriage with a man more than twice her age. The court must take this opportunity to properly review the facts of her case, and safely return her to her family.
Pakistan has decided to reopen the case of a young Christian girl who was abducted at age 13, forced to marry a 30-year-old man and converted to Islam. International human rights lawyer@KelseyZorzi shares the latest on the case and what legal steps could come next.

Lord Sumption has suffered a surprising lapse in his usual commendable common sense. He doesn’t explain how an unexpressed thought causes discomfort or constitutes a 'demonstration' or how silent prayer, which by its nature is directed towards God, is 'directed' at people using abortion centres. He conflates shouting rowdy songs in a church with silenting praying on a public street. The distinction is precisely the point. The law should judge conduct, not thoughts. Common sense seems to have fallen silent here.
Can silent prayer count as harassment? Speaking at The Spectator's Free Speech Debate, Lord Sumption says a person should be allowed to engage in silent prayer provided it is not directed at 'vulnerable people outside abortion clinics'. Watch in full |youtu.be/GxPRt3yqdMs

📢TOMORROW: A hearing will take place in the case of Anita Meston, a Christian teacher who was FIRED after saying she was pro-life in response to a student's question. Alliance Defending Freedom is supporting Anita in taking legal action against her former employer for discrimination. Schools should not be places of censorship.
Anita Meston, a teacher at Biddick Academy in the UK was FIRED after telling her students that she was pro-life. School officials said her actions could "cause harm or distress to pupils”. Meston was reportedly responding directly to a student who asked her if she was "pro-abortion." She is now SUING the school for religious discrimination, claiming the school targeted her for her Christian faith.
