The sickening stories keeping coming inā€¦šŸ˜¢šŸ˜¢šŸ˜¢ SHAME ON YOU, @StubHub. Imagine being a kid, a HUGE @Brewers fan, and finding out you’re going to see your team play in the WORLD SERIES! āš¾ļøšŸ’™šŸ’› The excitement. The anticipation. The memories you’re already imagining making. Now imagine having that excitement ripped away because a company sold your 3 tickets that you bought, that they apparently can’t deliver. That’s exactly what we’re dealing with right now. We purchased THREE tickets to the Milwaukee Brewers World Series for Game 1 last Tuesday(13th) through StubHub. We selected our section, our row, paid for our tickets, and received our order confirmation. Everything was supposed to be set. Then suddenly, StubHub tells us they’re ā€œsearching for replacement optionsā€ because they can’t provide the tickets we purchased. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! How does a company accept someone’s hard earned money, confirm a purchase, and then turn around and say they can’t fulfill it?! And their solution? We can request a refund while they continue looking for tickets. THIS ISN’T ABOUT THE MONEY. It’s about the experience. It’s about the memories. It’s about the excitement of a kid, his dad, and grandpa, who thought they were going to watch their favorite baseball team play on the biggest stage in baseball. Look at the first picture. That’s the disappointment you’re creating, StubHub. A refund doesn’t replace that moment. And here’s what really bothers me… StubHub advertises a ā€œFanProtect Guaranteeā€ and tells customers their orders are ā€œ100% guaranteed.ā€ Guaranteed WHAT, exactly?! Because from where we’re sitting, that guarantee doesn’t feel worth much when you can’t deliver the tickets you sold us. We did everything right. We purchased through a major ticket marketplace. We trusted the confirmation. We trusted the guarantee. Now it’s time for StubHub to make it right. We aren’t asking for anything extra. We want the three tickets we paid for, or comparable or better seats together, at no additional cost. Stubhub…DO BETTER. Please SHARE this. Not just for us, but for every fan who has trusted a ticket company with an experience that means so much more than the price of admission. ā„¹ļøBrandon Barker

Amid everything else that was going on, pictured here are a bunch of the UO athletic training staff who devote their professional lives to these guys, through mundane daily treatment to trauma situations like this. Shoutout to them all for their expertise and devotion. #GoDucks
The illegal hit on Dante Moore has thrust targeting back into the spotlight. The NCAA is implementing new targeting rules this season, with one rule allowing a disqualified player to play in his team’s next game, regardless of which half the penalty was assessed.

🧠 How do we prevent concussions? Dr. Thomas Bottiglieri explains why the Q-Collar should not be viewed as a proven concussion-prevention solution. The best approach? Avoid head impacts whenever possible through better rule enforcement, safer styles of play, and reducing unnecessary exposure to head impacts. Focus on proven prevention strategies—not gimmicks. #DrThomasBottiglieri #DrBotts #Concussion #ConcussionPrevention #SportsMedicine #BrainHealth #AthleteSafety youtube.com/watch?v=FwLekqwu…

I started typing my own reasons why this study doesn’t achieve what it claims to. But I worked with my research AI pipeline to compare to other work I’ve read/sorted with my QMD, and it gave me this: Its principal RHI (repeated head impact) variables—sport classification and years of participation—are extremely coarse proxies. * A football lineman, soccer goalkeeper, wrestler, and lacrosse player are all placed in ā€œhigh exposure,ā€ despite profoundly different impact frequencies, magnitudes, rotational forces, and injury mechanisms. * Years of participation treats every season, practice, position, and athlete as equivalent. * Concussions were limited to self-reported, medically diagnosed events, missing unrecognized, undisclosed, or retrospectively forgotten concussions. * Nonprimary sports and nonsport head trauma were excluded. This is classic exposure misclassification. If athletes with very different true exposures are placed in the same category, dose-response associations are diluted toward zero. Bootstrapping improves the precision of estimates from the recorded variables; it cannot repair a poorly measured exposure.

Hey @subaru_usa, I’ve seen a lot of engagement from @Ford and @Jeep about customer concerns, so are you ever going to do anything about the god awful infotainment system in my ā€˜24 Ascent?

Hey @subaru_usa, I have a ā€˜24 Ascent limited and the ā€˜infotainment’ unit sucks. It’s laggy & glitchy, now, it tells me I need a starlink subscription to even update it! This stinks pretty bad. I bought the ā€˜24 because I also have a ā€˜22 Onyx Ascent that I love. Can I get a fix?

March is National Athletic Training Month-a time to celebrate & recognize the role AT’s play in the lives of our student athletes. AT’s do so much more than tape ankles & treat injuries; they are trusted advocates, 1st responders & are often the 1st to notice when a SA is struggling with their #Mentalhealth. Their dedication to the well-being of our SA’s makes a lasting impact! Hilinski’s Hope is incredibly grateful for the care & compassion they have every day as they work to keep our SA’s safe, strong & supported-physically & mentally. From all of us at H3H, THANK YOU for all you do & on a personal note-we’re overwhelmed w/ gratitude for all you’ve done for our Ryan. ā™„ļøā™„ļøā™„ļø #NATM #fromheadtotoe #nationalathletictrainingmonth #Dublin
