For 18 years, Auckland went without a professional football club.
Tomorrow night, the city will host an occasion “unlike anything we’ve ever seen before” in New Zealand.
@pineynz explains how the Black Knights “walked the walk” to bust a long-believed myth about football in Auckland.
🗣️ “All those fears were completely unfounded… it’s going to be absolutely massive.”

This is nothing short of a Grand Final MIRACLE 😮👇
After three ACL injuries by 24, when Taylor Ray heard a snap in the Elimination Final, she feared the worst.
She was right. She needed surgery. Instead, this weekend she'll play in a GRAND FINAL.
"We just needed to get the all clear from the surgeon. He said 🗣: 'Honestly, just go for it. F****** send it!'

I was meant to play for Spain. Instead, I captain the World No. 101 – and it’s changed my life.
But I would have never made it as a footballer, if I conformed to traditional expectations set for women in my culture.
Through it all, my sister was my greatest inspiration."It was so difficult for her. When I grew up I thought: ‘I’m going to be strong, I’m going to be like my sister’."

Michelle Heyman's career has been so consistently good that she could be in the Hall of Fame TWICE 🤯
This weekend, at 36, she will break through a barrier some never thought possible - and she's far from done yet.
Her story starts with a 120-player trial. It almost ended 6 years ago. Thank god it didn't 💚💚

It's been 10 years since Maria 'Cote' Rojas first arrived Down Under. Her opinion on Australia, and the A-Leagues, is beautiful 🥹❤️

Three “sliding doors” moments almost broke @WgtnPhoenixFC. Now, they’re on the cusp of history.
How did they get here?
From a remark never forgotten to a CEO in a fountain - and that's just scratching the surface.
@Domestar tells incredible the story.

Great story by @matthewcomito
Join me on @10FootballAU & @ParamountPlusAU for the call 🗣️🎙️
21-year-old Tiahna Robertson is living a football fairy tale ⚽️✨
11 days ago, the goalkeeper was an NPL player. Then she got a phone call.
It was the Newcastle Jets coach. “𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆”
She debuted in the final round of the season.
She made 7 saves. Her team won 8-0. And secured Finals football.
📲 “My phone would not stop blowing up!”
It happened so fast… but it was actually the culmination of a 10-year journey.
At age 11, she was on the books of the Jets Academy. Under the same coach who made the phone call.
On Saturday, she looks set to be in goals for an Elimination Final… and the story could get even better.
