Only a bit more than a month before I have to finalise this ever changing topic with my latest learnings and lessons learned. Plan is to make this about 50% developer focused and 50% IT Manager/Architecture/Functional focused.
BTW - You can use code SPEAKER5OFF to save 5% on a pass #masteringsap #saptechedontour
Wrapping up my Hydro contract after several years and now officially open for my next gig from August! If you need an SAP Architect, Designer, Developer, or even all 3 - reach out. Very motivated to work on CAP, AI with S/4HANA.
(Repost from BlueSky as I'm stuck): SAP Cloud Identity Question - SuccessFactors Todos API with (any) user OAuth question posted on SCN for more info - Key question - Can I use an Application to create a SAML2 ticket for SuccessFactors for any user? community.sap.com/t5/technol…...
Got to say, the SAP community seems to be coming over to BlueSky with momentum which is hopeful! Would be good to only use Threads and BlueSky!
Nice. I like bluesky but it was very lonely in there early on... And threads crossed over too much with non-SAP/Dev friends!

Question: When SuccessFactors syncs Employees - Is it a bug if BP Supplier role (FLVN00) is added to the Employee BP record? Or is it a bug that employees show up in standard Supplier searches after doing this? Asking for a friend...
Looks like since 2020 release (in 2021) - A new Employee BP Model exists that might address this issue which looks awfully confusing to consider switching to: help.sap.com/docs/SAP_S4HANA…
Some good content in here for Enterprise Architecture: community.sap.com/t5/technol…
open.spotify.com/episode/3Dw… Love Signal (wish it was all Telephones default mandated by government) and Meridith's views on LLMs really resonated with me (it's magically useful but not intelligence - my words not hers)
Impressive day of sessions for ABAP'ers!

The most "usable now" of all content I've seen too (but with some future stuff too)

Ironically..reviewing twitter to see there is no news from the keynote - or did I miss something (non marketing answers only)

I will draw your attention to the migrating SRM section of the just updated "Upgrading SAP S/4HANA - Why, How and Best Practices" - Hint - Lean Services has lots of limitations still! sap.com/documents/2020/06/94…
Looks like search columns are permanently broken in @X Pro for the last week - I could search in X for an answer briefly but it quickly becomes a mess of irrelevant posts.
Probably obvious if you think about it but sand can be smaller than dust... Just something I found out about with my new dust proof flip phone (all good now luckily)!!
I love how quickly you can debug overly complex written draft mode enabled SAP UI5 apps using overly complex and non-intuitive written BOPF based UI5 programming model without any methods that really help you diagnose an SAP bug!
