He campaigned like he'd run ICE out of the city, but ICE is a FEDERAL agency, and a mayor has zero power over it. After the Bronx shooting he called Trump and talked for two hours, then admitted at his own press conference he couldn't even get the guy released. Now the same people who voted for him are out on the streets demanding answers..
And it's not just ICE he can’t deliver on. He floated a 9.5% property tax hike, he patched the budget by delaying pension payments, and the city's looking at billions in shortfalls for years to come. The honeymoon is officially OVER.

Social media has everybody thinking they're the main character, so this guy walks down the line of cops giving each one his meanest look like he's in a movie. The officers didn't even budge. And all of this is for an illegal immigrant with a criminal record and gang ties, who the city already had in custody back in 2023 and let walk a few days later.

ASYLUM seeker who claimed he had a “micropenis” and was unable to have sex has been locked up for 11 years for attempted rape.
Iranian Hossein Mohmoudi, 36, came to Britain by piloting a migrant boat across the Channel.
In December 2024, he followed a 43-year-old woman for 55 minutes, including on to the same bus, as she went home after a Christmas party.
He tried to rape her in an alleyway but stopped when he was confronted by a passerby who intervened.
Mohmoudi has now been jailed for 11 years.
Judge Sarah-Jane Griffiths described him as a “dangerous sexual predator” at his trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court.

* Emergency tariffs. Struck down in February.
* National Guard in Chicago. Blocked by the Supreme Court in December.
* The federal funding freeze. Blocked.
There's a reason the agenda is moving slowly.
Democratic AGs signed a pact to sue Trump in April 2024, 7 months before he won.
Some lawsuits were drafted before he took office.
