Re the new X search experience: previous iteration (just trending list) was one click from determining if a topic was high quality/worth my time. Now: it’s a sea of spam ads a la junk sites. Global trends are lowest common denominator. Bad move IMO

Apply this to any tool where the result is generated from a model: 3D animation, CAD, 3D printing, illustration, code (where it’s already happening!). Then artists have the ability to modify the generated blueprint, an accelerant to the outcome they want

We’ve been remodeling our house. I’ve always had a more formal-feeling office and this time I wanted an office with more energy & one that would work with a standup desk. After months of toiling over options, landed on a mid-century/70s theme and I’m super proud of our design!

Have been fiddling with the TV and figured out a configuration that led to better picture clarity. This TV is 40 years old!
Just watched Everything Everywhere All At Once and I don’t even know how to put into words what I just experienced. It transported me. What an incredible achievement. Cried for at least 20 minutes. Watch it!

With the help of a couple converters, I got this 40 year old Zenith hooked up to the Apple TV. This is the most futuristic looking TV ever, just cool as hell.

A quibble or two over the examples and the idea of minimizing feedback, but this framework is spot on. The idea of mounting evidence to prove you’re right is intuitive and yet so counter-productive. Come from a place of love & care and be smart. A worthy 🧵
