Watching Greg Walker endorse Beau Bayh is kind of no surprise for those of us who served with Greg. He lost his primary and has sour grapes but he was anything but a Republican in the past several years. 🙄. Don’t Bayh the lies. There is no movement of Republicans voting for Beau. It is telling that he thinks he needs Republicans to win.

We started at Broden’s football game. His season is winding down, and his team came away with a win!
Then we headed to Covington Applefest. I worked at the Covington IGA in high school, so it’s always good to be back and see the community turn out for such a well-run event.
From there, we went to the West Point Fish Fry. It was packed, as always. Nearly all of House District 13 relies on volunteer fire departments, and it’s great to see the community show up to support the people who serve it.
We even put up a few signs on the drive home!

This week, Xi Jinping has an opportunity to prove he seeks a more positive relationship with the United States. If he wants to be taken seriously, here are a few suggestions:
1.) Immediately end all tax rebates and subsidies that incentivize the production of fentanyl precursors and other synthetic narcotics.
2.) Free Jimmy Lai, Gulshan Abbas, Ekpar Asat, and American citizens wrongfully detained in China.
3.) Stop its dangerous grey zone escalation against American allies and partners like the Philippines, Japan, and Taiwan.
The CCP loves to put the burden of reducing tensions on others. This has it precisely backwards. The CCP is the aggressive party. They can improve their behavior or face @POTUS's wrath.
