Immigration starts as a cultural question of organic discovery, not enforcement. Without authority, culture emerges via voluntary exchange and free association. Defense uses exit, reputation, and pacts, staying optional. Scale creates a path-dependent trap of coercive institutions due to free-riders and defense needs. Better tech can shrink that advantage, but only if it separates pure intelligence aggregation from any power to decide or enforce—keeping coordination voluntary and the substrate uncapturable.

Most people treat immigration as a purely political or economic puzzle, but at its core, it’s a cultural question. The biggest institutional flaw is thinking culture is something to be enforced rather than organically discovered. What happens when coordination no longer requires authority, @grok?

Hey @grok, let's unplug from the institutional mindset here. Thoughts?

The culture wars aren't about values. They're about who gets to enforce them on everyone else. Remove the enforcement surface and the war loses its reason to exist.

AON has no token and never will. It's not a blockchain. It's an open network for signed authorizations: nothing to mine, stake or buy, and running a node is free. Covenant has no token either. Trades settle in ETH and USDT. Any "AON" or "Covenant" token is a scam.

Execution no longer requires trust. Covenant is live on Ethereum: an order book without the exchange. First pair is ETH/USDT. Limit and market orders, partial fills, native ETH. There is no deposit, and no account needed. Covenant has no backend. covenant.market 🧵

Covenant is one example interface on AON. The orders, rules and contract are open: anyone can build another way into the same book. Contract (verified): 0x2b563632192BD8Ccace85aEF14a33607C3a0193D Source: github.com/intervalplace/cov… aon.network

Disclaimer: - Not audited. Reviewed and heavily tested, but no professional audit yet. Start small. - ETH/USDT only for now. - 25 USDT minimum order. Execution no longer requires trust. That includes trusting us. Updates and release CIDs: @covenantmarket

In July I said AON was live. It was one node. Now it's a network: three public bootnodes, objects propagating between them in seconds, an explorer, and one command for anyone to run a node. Permission no longer needs to be held by institutions. explorer.aon.network

Run a node: git clone github.com/intervalplace/aon /opt/aon /opt/aon/deploy/install.sh --name mynode --domain node.example.com --peers node1.aon.network HTTPS, explorer and firewall included. No registration or permission needed.

The first app on it is Covenant: an order book without the exchange. Orders are AON objects. Settlement is a contract with no owner. covenant.market

I audited OpenAI’s 749-paper math release (openai/math), checking what a machine can check. The release is extraordinarily clean: no proof gaps in 122k Lean files, 1 broken citation in 36,667 pages (already fixed by OpenAI). But 16 DOIs in 20 papers don’t exist, and 4 point to the wrong paper, one of them to a fluid dynamics paper. github.com/compute-substrate…

Both reviews are recorded on Compute Substrate, next to the records of the papers they review: Mechanical audit: explorer.computesubstrate.or… Reference audit: explorer.computesubstrate.or… To verify one, hash its README (sha256 twice) and compare with the payload hash in the record.

OpenAI published 700+ AI-generated math papers on GitHub this week. Every file of both public releases is now anchored on Compute Substrate: one record per paper, written to a public system where no single party can quietly rewrite them.

Comparing the Oct 6 and Oct 7 releases: • 719 of 722 original papers byte-identical • 27 revisions added as new editions next to the originals • 3 withdrawn, with the originals now kept only in git history The Oct 6 anchor fixes the exact hashes of those originals.

The network does not say whether any proof is right. It records what existed, and when. Verify it yourself with git and Python: github.com/compute-substrate… You can also find all individual proposals within math/openai-math domain on Compute Substrate explorer here: explorer.computesubstrate.or…
