#ETP lobbied for a new law to make pipeline protest a felony. Then it hired local sheriff's deputies as its private security. Deputies then tackled, choked, pepper-sprayed, Tased & arrested water protectors under the new law. #BayouBridge #SwampReporting inthesetimes.com/article/219…

Thing is, it's hard to find these kids because the schools bribe them to not talk about it with unlimited amounts of dog and cat jerky shipped in from Springfield, Ohio
If there were actually a single child who had their gender changed by a school you’d know all the names involved because Fox News would never stop talking about it.

Will the number of reports on the current administration crash the website? Or will they pull it down first?
Trump announces "fraud whistleblower incentive program" -- "All Americans will now be able to go to fraud dot gov and report cases of corruption and theft of taxpayer dollars in their communities ... if you turn somebody in and you find $1 billion, we're giving a commission of 1%. That's a lot of money"

🚨❗️🇺🇸 Glass is not just another man implicated in the killing of Hind Rajab. He is the man who most likely gave the order to open fire on the vehicle carrying Hind and members of her family, including other children. That Glass can roam the streets of the United States as though nothing has happened is intolerable. He must be brought to justice.
🇺🇸🚨 The #HindRajabFoundation has filed an urgent request with the U.S. Department of Justice, demanding the immediate investigation, arrest, and prosecution of Sean Glass, currently present in the United States. Glass commanded the Israeli unit implicated in Hind Rajab's murder. HRF's investigation places the 52nd Battalion—including Glass and his Vampire Empire Company—near her vehicle during the killing. Today, Glass walks free in the U.S. ➡️ More → bit.ly/4iv2Zio

I was a teacher before law school. I couldn’t convince teenagers to wear deodorant. The idea that teachers are convincing kids that they should get sex changes is utterly ludicrous.

Solution here would have been to not touch her in the first place. I mean it was an earring, not a sword 🗡️ 🤣

“Let me die,” American photojournalist Heidi Levine repeats to journalists Jasper Nathaniel as they try to outrun masked Israeli settlers who attacked her on Friday while she covered the olive harvest in the West Bank village of Abu Falah, near Ramallah. Around 80 settlers attacked Palestinian olive harvesters in the village, AP reported. The Palestinian Red Crescent said it treated six people injured in two attacks in Abu Falah. Levine, a freelancer for the Washington Post, told the Committee to Protect Journalists that the settlers knocked her down and kicked her for at least 10 minutes, even after she identified herself as an American journalist. They stole her camera, phone and bag. She was eventually taken to a hospital in Ramallah. "The IDF provided cover, with tear gas and machine guns, while the settlers beat" Levine "nearly to death," Nathaniel wrote, adding that soldiers then shot a Palestinian bystander and aimed their guns at and shoved paramedics trying to treat him. AP photos and circulating videos show Israeli soldiers standing over a wounded Palestinian man after they shot him. Andrey X, an activist also at the scene, said a Palestinian man "saved our lives from the settler-terrorists who attacked the olive harvesters and journalists” armed only with a slingshot.
To be clear, the only reason I was able to reach Heidi was because young Palestinians provided cover with rocks against machine-gun- and tear-gas-wielding settlers and soldiers. It’s those kids, not the settler terrorists, who the IDF was hunting after the attack.

Again, we are not conspiracy theorists when we criticize the police. We are realists about the conspiracies and the systems that enable and protect them.

I have no insight into the facts of this situation, but “CLAIM: (outline a claim)/FACT: (outline facts that don’t address the claim just laid out)” is not generally how fact checks work.

Israel kidnapped a journalist in the occupied West Bank, tortured him, and left him to die in prison. Then, it held his body hostage until today as it was transferred to health authorities. Not a single mention in the Western mainstream media. Not a peep from Western journalists.

Idk a single person who wouldn’t flee from a random, unidentifiable guy in a $5 construction vest pointing a rifle at them and their preschooler. This is disgusting and I hope these images are etched into your brains for every future election you ever vote in.

This day is profoundly painful for so many New Yorkers. It marks three years since the horrific war crimes of October 7. On that day, Hamas killed more than 1,100 Israelis and abducted 251 others. We grieve alongside our many friends and neighbors who still carry that unthinkable loss. The suffering did not begin nor end that day. It instead continued through the Israeli government’s devastating, ongoing genocide in Gaza, in which it has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians—including more than 21,000 children. Even since the so-called ceasefire, more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed. That suffering has intensified with every Israeli bomb dropped on ambulances waiting outside hospitals, every drone strike targeting a residential building or journalist, and every shipment of food aid turned away at a border crossing. Many New Yorkers are reckoning with this unbearable grief, and we mourn alongside them – all while knowing that our tax dollars fund these war crimes. Three years later, we must refuse to accept a world in which occupation and apartheid continue, where war crimes are met with impunity, and our federal government continues its complicity with every arms shipment. To honor the dead, we must fight for a world in which every person can live with freedom, safety, and dignity.

Teachers can’t even give kids Tylenol without their parents’ permission. If you believe this you’re a fucking idiot.

So, Mr. Vance, looks like us crazy cat ladies will be around to vote for a good long time 😹 🐈‍⬛
Cat owners have a 30 percent lower risk of dying from a heart attack. A study published in the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Neurology analysed data from 4,435 adults followed over 20 years in the Second National Health and Nutrition Examination Study and found that people who had owned a cat at any point had significantly lower cardiovascular mortality. The study was led by Adnan Qureshi at the University of Minnesota. He found that cat owners had a 30 percent lower risk of death from myocardial infarction and a lower risk of death from all cardiovascular diseases combined, after adjusting for age, sex, race, blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, smoking, BMI, and income. The effect held across every subgroup tested. The mechanism is likely stress reduction. Cats, unlike dogs, do not need to be walked, which removes the exercise explanation. What they do provide is companionship, tactile contact, and a calming presence that lowers the baseline stress level in the home. Studies on pet interaction have shown that stroking a cat lowers cortisol and blood pressure within minutes, and those small daily reductions compound over years. The study could not determine whether it was the cat that produced the benefit or whether people who choose to own cats have personality traits that independently protect against heart disease. But the size of the effect, 30 percent, and the length of follow-up, 20 years, made the finding hard to dismiss as coincidence. A cat does not exercise with you, does not cook for you, and does not remind you to take your medication. It sits on your chest and purrs, and the 20-year data says that is enough. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/2251…
