BREAKING: Iran rejects Trump's new claim to Axios that a deal will be signed "within the next few hours," calling it "out of touch with reality" given that nothing has been finalized and no agreement exists, especially after today's Israeli strike on Beirut, per Tasnim.
Iran's senior negotiating team member Marandi separately says "there will be no more negotiations for now."
The Boy Who Cried Wolf was wrong. Apparently you can keep crying wolf and people still believe you.
🚨Scoop: U.S. and Iran reach deal but need Trump's final approval, two U.S. officials and a regional source involved in the mediation efforts told me. My story on @axios

Iran rejected the Axios report claiming a US-Iran deal has been reached, with an informed source stating it reflects only the US narrative and does not represent Iran's position. en.mehrnews.com/news/244750/So… i24news.tv/en/news/israel…
The amount of Oil Glut propaganda that has flooded my feed in the last two days tells me one of two things: A) either we’re close to the bottom of the barrels and we’re literally doing the “this is fine” meme irl or 2) the Iran/US propaganda machine is working hard to make sure the world doesn’t spiral out of control while they puff their collective chests at each other.
🔥If you're in the oil market and this doesn’t shock you, nothing will🔥
🔴Global commercial crude inventories are still high — higher than 2025 and 2024 levels. Thanks to the SPR!

Having two children with the wrong woman is like falling into a Sarlacc pit and never seeing the light of day again
This quoted post is unavailable.
Idiocracy was a documentary 😱
Two-thirds of babies under 2 are on screens every single day — some up to 8 hours.
A new study highlighted on Fox News is pretty sobering. Family therapist Darby Fox explained that all those pings, colors, and fast-moving images basically act like a dopamine pump for tiny developing brains. It rewires how they process the world, but it’s not interactive, not language-based, and not 3D like real human development.
The result? Higher risks of poor sleep, delayed speech, weaker problem-solving, and communication issues.
This one hits hard. It’s so easy to use screens for a moment of peace, but we might be trading short-term quiet for long-term developmental costs during a critical window of brain growth.
The first two years shape so much of how a child’s brain develops. What we expose them to (or don’t) now can have ripple effects for years.
What’s your take on screen time for toddlers? Where do you draw the line?

They named it the “Billionaire Tax” so you wouldn’t read it.
I read it.
Page 26 lets Sacramento convert it to a tax on EVERYONE without your vote.
Same people. Same trick. They did it with AB 130.
Newsom said he’d never sign a mileage tax.
Page 137. Already signed.
Now page 26.
Your house. Your 401k. Your savings.
No vote required.

The Billionaire Tax is actually an Everyone Tax.
The Billionaire Tax is a new tax proposal written by four professors who don't believe in the American dream. Some of them aren’t even American…go figure.
Despite its name, it applies to every California resident who currently has assets or ever will.
The creators named it the Billionaire Tax so you would get into a froth andwouldn't look closely at what it actually does to you.
On page twenty-six, it explains how the government can convert to an Everyone Tax without voter approval.
They can also adjust the tax to be a yearly tax, not just one time…again, without your approval.
Here's how the tax would work: As a voter, you're being asked to approve a tax that would require you to:
1. list all your assets and the value of each, then submit them to the California Franchise Tax Board.
2. authorize the tax board to appraise your assets and confirm the value of each.
3. pay a penalty of up to forty percent of your tax bill if the board determines your reported value was too low in their opinion.
4. allow the tax board to subpoena your financial records from every one of your financial institutions for auditing.
This Everyone Tax runs 34 pages of shifty language describing how the government plans to take your assets. Read the fine print and decide for yourself.
If this were truly a billionaire tax, it would be 3 pages.
It’s 34 pages so that it can create the mechanisms to steal from all of you.
Probably nothing will happen but getting my popcorn ready just in case.

Holy shit. He’s literally quoting the #softwar thesis 😱🤯
On a good day I'm pretty retarded. This nonsense makes me feel like I'm dumber than the crayons I'm eating.
‼️Physical, real-world oil prices are surging even as futures fall:
Dated Brent, the benchmark used to price most of the world’s seaborne crude, ended Monday’s session higher.
This comes despite falling WTI crude and Brent futures prices.
Because it reflects the cost of real, immediately deliverable barrels, it is the MOST IMPORTANT indicator of how tight the physical oil market is right now.
Dated Brent prices have more than DOUBLED since the beginning of the year.
The energy crisis is nowhere near the end.
Abolish gentle parenting
We now have evidence that gentle parenting doesn’t work.
Here’s an uncomfortable truth about parenting no one wants to say out loud:
The data is not kind to gentle parenting.
According to teenagers, strict curfews. strict bedtimes, screen limits, device drop off times, dedicated homework blocks, and sleepover restrictions IMPROVE higher relationship quality.
And yes, parenting difficulty goes up.
Of course it does. Leadership is harder than appeasement.
For the past decade we have been sold a watered down, Instagram friendly version of “gentle parenting” that often collapses into boundary avoidance, endless negotiation and emotional processing without enforcement. Parents terrified of saying no because they do not want to rupture connection.
But connection without authority is not connection. It is dependency.
When parents impose structure, the relationship improves.
Teenagers report better parent child relationship quality in homes with curfews and rules. Younger kids report better relationships in homes with screen limits and bedtimes. Even device drop off times correlate positively.
Why?
Because structure is not cruelty. Structure is love made visible.
A bedtime says: your brain matters more than your entertainment.
A screen limit says: your dopamine system is not fully developed and I will guard it until it is.
A curfew says: your safety matters more than your social standing.
That is not authoritarianism. That is caring.
Boundaries create friction. Friction creates growth. The parent absorbs the short term discomfort so the child does not pay the long term cost.
Children do not experience well calibrated limits as rejection. They experience them as stability. The human brain craves predictability. Predictability reduces anxiety. Reduced anxiety strengthens attachment.
That is why relationship quality goes up.
Notice something else in the data. The strongest effects are around time structure. Bedtime. Homework. Devices. Outside play. These are environmental constraints. They scaffold executive function.
The winning formula is not tyranny.
It is high warmth plus high structure.
The modern failure mode is high warmth plus low structure. That is just abdication of responsibility wrapped in empathy.
Children need leadership, not negotiation. They need adults who can tolerate their anger. They need boundaries that do not move every time emotions spike. They need someone whose prefrontal cortex is fully myelinated.
The harder path produces the stronger bond.
Because when a child feels that someone is strong enough to hold the line, they relax. And relaxed nervous systems build durable relationships.
