DID YOU KNOW?
Mondo Duplantis 🇸🇪 did not set a Pole Vault World Record outdoors in 2026.
It was the first year since 2021 that he failed to do so, ending a 4-year streak of outdoor World Records.
Duplantis will also skip the entire 2027 indoor season, including the European Indoor Championships in Valencia, to focus on recovery and preparation for the outdoor season.
He still set a World Record indoors in 2026.

October 4, 2011: Apple announces the iPhone 4S and Siri.
Less than 24 hours later, Steve Jobs passed away.
This was the very last Apple homepage he ever saw go live. Within hours, it would be replaced by a simple black-and-white portrait that changed the tech world forever.
15 years later, his legacy still runs in our pockets.
RIP Steve.

On Britain's Got Talent, an illusionist sat on stage while a sheet was pulled over a chair, making him instantly disappear and reappear in a different spot.
When asked how he did it, he offered to make an exception and explain.
He put on a reflective white jumpsuit and turned on UV lights to show the audience the secret escape route on the back of the chair.
Then came the real twist.
Even with the white suit glowing, the lights fully up, and everyone watching every move, he stepped back into the chair, dropped the sheet, and vanished into thin air again in a split second!

LOSS OF CABIN PRESSURE
That is why BA295 came down so fast.
London–Chicago, Boeing 777, near 37,000 ft over Ireland, squawk 7700, down to 9,000 ft in minutes. At 30,000 ft the time of useful consciousness is 1 to 2 minutes. Higher up, it is measured in seconds.
Masks on, emergency descent, cabin below 10,000 ft before crew and passengers black out. Textbook, and commendable. They are now burning fuel, gear down in the hold, to get inside landing weight for the return to Heathrow.
