🚨MEET SAYLOR GRAHAM. SHE’S ONLY SEVEN YEARS OLD. AND SHE’S FIGHTING TO RECOVER AFTER BEING SHOT IN THE FACE AT SCHOOL. I want everyone to take a moment to look at this beautiful little girl. Her name is Saylor Graham, and she is one of the youngest survivors of yesterday’s horrific mass shooting at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, Oregon. Saylor, who uses a wheelchair and already lives with significant medical challenges, was inside the classroom when 16-year-old Griffin J. John II opened fire with a 12-gauge shotgun, killing three children and a 25-year-old teacher. Saylor survived. And tonight, there is some encouraging news. According to the Bend Police Department’s latest update, Saylor received lifesaving treatment at the scene and is now hospitalized at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, where she remains in serious but stable condition. This little girl and her family were already fighting battles long before a gunman entered her classroom. According to a GoFundMe established to support her recovery, Saylor has numerous existing medical needs. Her parents are both self-employed, and caring for their daughter has already significantly limited their ability to work. Now they’re facing an unimaginable additional burden. Hospital expenses. Travel. Lodging. Lost income. And the uncertainty of what Saylor’s recovery will require in the weeks and months ahead. I’m sharing the fundraiser below for anyone who would like to help. If you cannot contribute financially, I’m asking you to do something else. Pray for Saylor. Pray for her parents. Pray for her medical team. And pray for every family whose life was forever changed yesterday. Please also share her story and her fundraiser everywhere. Four innocent people didn’t get to come home. Saylor did survive, and I’m praying this beautiful little girl continues to fight her way back to the life she deserves. God bless you, sweet Saylor. ❤️🙏

North Carolina A&T students marched an hour each way to vote on the first day of early voting after their campus polling site was removed by the Guilford County Elections Board. Proud 👏🏽

This is so beautiful. Rest in peace, Dolly.
My son came to me with some news. He told me Dolly Parton had died and I said I knew. And then he got quiet for a second and said she loved me. She used to send me a lot of books. I had to just look at him for a moment. He was talking about the Imagination Library. The program where Dolly sends books to children every month from birth until they start school. Millions of kids across the country get these books. My son believed that Dolly Parton personally knew him. That she had specifically selected each book, thought about him individually, put it in an envelope, and mailed it to our house every single month because she loved him specifically. Not as part of a program. Not as one of millions of children. But because she and my son had a personal relationship and she was devoted to his literary development specifically. And honestly when you think about it from a child's perspective that's not even an unreasonable conclusion. Books showed up every month with her name attached. She clearly cared. Why wouldn't she know him personally. I didn't have the heart to fully correct him in that moment. Because also he wasn't entirely wrong. She did love him. She loved all of them. She just loved a lot of children at once and had a very efficient system for showing it. Rest easy Dolly. My son misses you personally.

This is so well done.
NEW: Trump named Springfield, Ohio, his first target for mass deportations. He claimed Haitian immigrants were eating pets. We went to Springfield to hear the real story from people who live there. Turns out the city's decline isn't new—and its causes aren't what you were told.

Did he say what I think he said? Wow 🤯
Hassett: If the war were to be extended, it wouldn't really disrupt the U.S. economy very much at all. It would hurt consumers, but that's really the last of our concerns right now.

I know a lot of people think about 3 ÷ 1/2 as "how many 1/2 fit into 3?" but there is another model! Here are two ways we can think about division.

Children die in school shootings and it’s “not the guns”. Mass shootings claim lives multiple times a year and it’s “not the guns”. Kyle Rittenhouse shot 3 people during a protest and it’s “not the guns” ICE kills Alex Pretti, and suddenly it’s his fault because he “had a gun”

Starmer and King Charles III can always show this picture, then ask Trump where his sons were. How far behind the front lines were Eric and Junior?
