I'm very very happy to share that our textbook is now posted online, expected to be released early August. This has been a labor of love that my wife and I have been working on for at least the past four years. We are very proud of what it has become

Mike, first of all, I've carried two pregnancies to term, exactly two more than you have, so clearly I believe that to be an "option." I also had several miscarriages, so I know firsthand the importance of medically accurate information and care.
Secondly, if you care so much about pregnant women and babies, maybe you shouldn't have voted to gut Medicaid, which covers 40% of births, and defund Planned Parenthood, which provides primary and preventive care to women of reproductive age. Maybe worry a little less about an organization being sued for potentially life-threatening fraud and a little more about the women in our district who are about to see their healthcare premiums triple or lose coverage altogether.
I went to mass today and they also did not talk about Charlie Kirk. They did talk about the cross, because it is the feast of the exultation of the holy cross today...They prayed for the recently departed, as always, especially the parishioner for whom the mass was being held.
Can I just say that seeing every democratic leader calling for peace, praying for someone who was a rival and his family, then seeing Republicans claiming this is war, that they are radicalized, and the president calling for an end to left wing violence is...a bit scary
My representative is quite the was hawk for someone who had never and will never serve in the armed forces. He's happy to send our sons and daughters to die though
Like this is just ethnic cleaning, right? Am I missing something? The whole article is about how hard the logistics would be, like the number of airplanes to transport 1M people. No mention of the crime against humanity.... nbcnews.com/politics/nationa…

Hey @Danbury_WX , is this graupel I'm seeing on the West side of Danbury right now? Had a noticable bounce on my car's hood
Note it's the longest play from scrimmage because of Army's fumble on the one yard line Navy return for 99 years
Blake Horvath (@HorvathBlake) clocked a max speed of 21.0 mph on the longest play from scrimmage in Navy football history! #ReelSpeed #GoNavy

Years ago when my wife and I we were planning to buy a home, my dad stunned me with a quick mental calculation of loan payments.
I asked him how - he said he'd learned the strange formula for compound interest from his father, who was a merchant in 19th century Iran.

I published this in a 1-pager:
P. Milanfar, “A Persian Folk Method of Figuring Interest”, Mathematics Magazine, vol. 69, no. 5, Dec. 1996
My late dad refused to be a co-author. But when it appeared, he printed it out, framed it, and hung it on the wall of the house 🙂

Listening to this I realized it was old in high school. It's 25 years old. Is...is slipknot classic rock?
I have a day off today from working over last weekend so I'm spending it working on my restoration project. My late grandpa's dining room table from the farm he grew up on. Parts with dates on them confirm it to be from around 1902. Feels great having a bit of time to do this
