April 21, 1875. Indianapolis News. "Mrs. Judge Tarkington" is Booth's mom. The Senator from California was the uncle he was named for, Newton Booth, the son of Quakers from Salem, Indiana.

My autistic daughter graduated college in 3 years (magna cum laude!), and is working on a masters degree. My autistic son works (and pays taxes!), goes to college, collects vinyl, and is genuinely the funniest person I know.
