The degree to which people in the West fall prey to suicidal empathy continues to astonish me.
Read @GadSaad’s book about it!

Y'all should listen to me more.
We’re releasing a broad range of new mathematical results produced by an internal frontier model.
We’ve been consulting with the independent Advisory Group on Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence at the Institute for Advanced Study, and we have drawn on their advice and public recommendations to inform how we release these results.

Mathematical reasoning will transfer to any area that requires reasoning and building intuition over a complex domain. It might be that AI will not have all the necessary data to make the right conclusions in some cases, but it will be filling in all the necessary holes in data with high sample efficiency, just like humans.
Superhuman intelligence is here, and the same model that solved all these problems will be great at all other scientific and reasoning-bound tasks.
What if the jagged frontier is mainly math + code (which you can push arbitrarily far with RLVR), and everything else starts to plateau because it is still bottlenecked by human generated data?
Model performance in non-verifiable areas has kept improving steadily, albeit much slower than for math and code. But is that steady improvement a side effect of a higher G (itself driven by RLVR), or only a function of the amount of new human data getting injected into training (which is still continually happening on a massive scale)?
A lot of things depend on the answer to this question

This generalizes to everything and continues to scale.

The Jesuits spent centuries charting the moon with a similar theology; creation is meant to be decoded, not just gaped at.

Former Anthropic researcher Jacob Coxon became a media superstar after going public with his AI fears. He insisted that he wasn’t working with any third party organizations. Familiar sources told us a different story: DEY., a PR firm representing many of the most prominent AI safetyists, was booking his interviews.
One source, who had direct knowledge, even said DEY. preemptively booked Nate Soares, a prominent AI safety figure, for interviews that directly overlapped with Jacob going public.
Jacob working with DEY. is notable for two reasons: first, as mentioned, he previously said he wasn’t working with third parties. Second, we are in the middle of a national conversation about the future of AI that is actively determining how we regulate the most powerful technology in the world, largely thanks to the panic stirred up by Jacob — and it’s in the public’s interest to know who, exactly, is behind it.

Medallion's humming... that can only mean one thing! It's time to announce The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Songs of the Past! ⚔️
This brand new expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will take you to the Path with Geralt of Rivia once more. It’s being co-developed with @Fools_Theory and is coming to PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 in 2027. Stay tuned for more information in late summer. ⏰

ALT Geralt of Rivia stands ready for combat. He looks over his left shoulder and unsheathes his sword. Behind him is a monster made of twisted branches and twigs with hollow eyes and an open mouth. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt logo is printed in the center, with an additional logo for Expansion Pack: Songs of the Past on a purple banner underneath.
