I was so lucky to work at the @washingtonpost for more than a decade, alongside tenacious, world-class journalists. I know how deeply committed the staff is to the mission of holding power to account, and how much grit and bravery they bring to unearthing stories that would otherwise go untold. The loss of so many journalists is gutting for all of us who care about The Post and its long history of independent, rigorous reporting.
Deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to our coverage last year and made it so exceptional. I will never forget the excellence under pressure demonstrated by the @washingtonpost staff on that July 13, and their unwavering focus in the days and weeks that followed. Thank you so much to the @PulitzerPrizes for the honor.
