Tanvi, a little girl who waited 13 years for her surgery at AIIMS, sadly passed away on September 1.
What happened is deeply painful and heartbreaking. A child like Tanvi deserved the chance to live, grow, and experience life. No child should have to wait so long for a life-changing surgery.
If the reports of delays and VIP treatment are true, it raises serious questions about whether every patient is being given equal priority and care. A hospital exists to save livesโnot to prioritize money, influence, or VIP status over a patient's life.
Why should a child have to suffer or lose her life because she did not have influence or VIP status?
I sincerely hope that the circumstances surrounding Tanvi's treatment are investigated thoroughly and that, if anyone was responsible for negligence or an unjustified delay, they are held accountable.
May Tanvi's soul rest in peace. ๐๏ธ
