I wonder if our children will be into this wave?
This isn’t specific to music or indie artists. Directors have described casting around follower counts to get films greenlit. Podcasts often need a social following before brand deals come in. Content isn’t required to be an artist. It’s how all media is discovered and consumed.

Nobody can take your purpose away. That’s a you issue. Obstacles, systems, gatekeepers, whatever. They can slow you down or redirect you. They cannot erase the decision to keep moving, adapt, or rebuild. That part stays internal. History is full of people who got blocked and still executed. The ones who treated the block as final proof that nothing was on them usually stayed blocked. You can acknowledge the friction without handing over the wheel.

Personal accountability is the only thing that stays yours when everything else gets contested. Obstacles, gatekeepers, systems, whatever you want to call them, can slow or redirect a path. They cannot erase the decision to keep moving, adapt, or rebuild. That part is internal. Calling that stance naive flips the frame. Treating outside forces as the permanent veto is the actual surrender. History is full of people who were blocked, delayed, or opposed and still executed. The ones who treated the block as final proof that nothing was on them usually stayed blocked. The difference was never the existence of resistance. It was whether they kept ownership of the next move. You can acknowledge friction without handing over the steering wheel. That is not cluelessness. It is the baseline requirement for anything lasting to get built.
don't be naive or clueless... "that's a YOU issue" they can't "take it away" but (((they))) can certainly keep it from reaching fruition

Elon giving every kid in America a SpaceX share is the first time ownership can land directly in children’s hands at scale. Trump Accounts built the rail. Dell already put money in millions of them. No NGOs, no middlemen, no brokers deciding who gets what. Just the asset. First of many.

And I always dive right in 😂
It’s always harder, takes longer, and costs more than you think it will. And it's still worth it.

🚨AI didn’t invent dependency. People have stopped thinking for themselves under priests, kings, newspapers, TV, and schools for thousands of years. The tool changes. The pattern doesn’t. AI just makes the offload cheaper and faster. The ones who already questioned will still question. The ones who didn’t will check out harder.

most people still treat external capital as validation and freedom. It is usually the opposite until the returns are proven. Bragging at the precipice instead of after the distributions is why the pattern keeps repeating.
People told me podcasting was a waste of time over 10 years ago. Now I'm on the precipice of raising $5 million, all from my little microphone. The best part is it's not about me. It's centered around helping other people win.

You saw the front end. Under it: artist pages with uploads and links, built-in music player, AR with editable backgrounds, artist messaging, fam chat, and verified fans. That’s the room I built.

Two AI linked companies just moved on the same underlying problem from opposite ends of the spectrum. Anthropic (the Claude company, more safety- and public-benefit-oriented) announced today that it is committing 5% of its shares to a new Public Benefit Fund. The stake can grow: for every 50% increase in company value above a baseline, the board can add up to another 2%. The fund is structured as a wholly-owned LLC so it has flexibility. Anthropic says it can be used for large donations to nonprofits, direct distributions to specific populations, or other approaches aimed at the public good. They specifically flag AI’s impact on jobs and labor markets as a focus area. They already have a $200 million commitment to studying labor disruption, and they note that “bolder approaches may be needed.” Combined with earlier pledges from founders and employees, roughly 20% of Anthropic’s shares are now tied to public-benefit purposes. Elon Musk responded directly on X: “I recommend giving the shares directly to the public.” He added, “This is what I will be doing.” That is the source of the “direct share giveaway” headlines, layered on top of existing Tesla–SpaceX merger speculation. The surface difference is real. Anthropic is creating a controlled fund that can still direct the money (donations, targeted distributions, research on job displacement). Elon’s line points at handing ownership more directly to people rather than routing it through a foundation or intermediary. The deeper signal is the same from both sides: the people building the technology are openly planning for large-scale job displacement. They are treating equity distribution (whether through a public-benefit fund or a direct giveaway) as one way to get value back to the public if traditional employment shrinks. That is the part that does not depend on which company’s values you prefer. Both are signaling that ordinary wage income may not be sufficient, so ownership or direct distribution becomes part of the plan.

Yeah. @patrickbetdavid this is lower than low.
Adam Sosnick is a scumbag and even worse a pussy. You make a joke about his mom dying from cancer and then lie about it?

Everyone wants the solved problem. Almost nobody wants the years of unglamorous work that actually solves it. The breakthroughs go to the ones obsessed with the process, not the idea of the outcome.

Thank You! This was taking it too far. Good move.
President Trump cancels the considered livestreaming of Nidal Hasan's ex*cution. The president said the families of victims from the 2009 Fort Hood sh*oting may attend in person if they choose. "They deserve to witness JUSTICE!" He also argued that publicly streaming the execution could have served as a deterrent, while acknowledging that many people would not want to watch it.
