Uncommon snapshot of gospel great Mahalia Jackson and Harpo at Capitol Records during a break in the recording of her LP "Let's Pray Together" in late 1963. Harpo provided harp accompaniment (what else?) on the song "Guardian Angels," which he'd written in 1945.

The WWEification of the HR derby intros reminds me of an interview I did with Bob Sheppard. When I asked him if he was ever told to change his classy, stately style he said “If they want a professional PA announcer they have me. If they want a screamer let them hire Crazy Eddie!”
