How the World Agreed on Net Zero
Live @ 6pm: gres.hm/world-zero
Prof Myles Allen discusses how 190 countries came to agree on #netzero in the #parisagreement. Can it be done? Will it be done?
#climatechange #climateaction #climatecrisis @OxfordNetZero @oxfordgeography
Over the last two years with ONZ I’ve been lucky to see him at close quarters and see him in action - he is an inspirational leader, thoughtful and challenging. He is a great addition to the honoured ranks of the Royal Society
Myles isn't on Twitter so I can say it safely here!
He taught me physics when I was a student, inspired & challenged me as a scientist when I was @theCCCuk, and now I get to work with him as co-director @OxfordNetZero. He thoroughly deserves this 🎉
