Y'all. My older kid just got his first "real" apartment. In San Francisco. He's over the moon, and I'm remembering the infant, the toddler, the kid, and the young man.
Hold 'em tight while you've got them, and hope they move somewhere cool.

Between my alma mater's Nora Hannah Jones debacle, and the lack of accountability during Covid, it may be time for me to sneak across the border, display my @UNC diploma, and ask for amnesty at @UVA . 🙄

It's employee survey time. We're not perfect, but I will admit I'm pleased with my employer's attempt at inclusive language. (No screen shot, but they used Latinx later on). I LOVE that "other" has become "Prefer to self describe" (is on orientation ? too, just got cut off)
