Last week @Logos_network took over a corner of @InstituteCrypto ´s DARK Prague with our Logos LAN/Party, right by the river, surrounded by builders, privacy people, old friends, new friends, and plenty of people working on a better, freer future.
And the Logos team smashed it, as always.
Huge shoutout to @kirstenrpomales , @vpavlin, @SterlinLujan, @mart1n, @roxananasoi and, of course, our co-founder @jarradhope_ for the talks, conversations and energy throughout the weekend.
One of my favourite parts was seeing just how many people already knew about Logos, hearing genuinely positive feedback about what we’re building, and having so many interesting conversations with the local builder and privacy community.
The recordings from DARK Prague should be available soon, and there are definitely a few worth watching 👀
Beautiful location, brilliant crowd, and one of those weekends that reminds you why we’re building all of this in the first place. 🖤

Wrote a beginner-friendly guide on running a @Logos_network Testnet v0.3 node.
While exploring Logos Field Station, I ended up trying Basecamp, spinning up a node, syncing it, and digging much deeper into how the stack actually works.
Liked the experience enough to document the full setup.
Shoutout to @0xshukla for helping along the way 🤝

New Keycard Shell OpenPGP demo is done.
CREATE_IDENTITY creates a public OpenPGP identity for the Shell’s own derived key by binding a UID to its public key with a self-certification.
In the video:
host generates the request
Shell shows UID / creation time / fingerprint for trusted review
Shell returns the public OpenPGP certificate over animated BC-UR
host reconstructs it
GnuPG verifies the self-signature
Final result:
REQUEST SELF-CHECK: PASS
RESPONSE STRUCTURE CHECK: PASS
gpg: 1 good signature
Physical hardware, end to end.
Got the OpenPGP certification demo working end-to-end 🔐
Starting from Thurin Labs’ published public key, I generate a QR containing the actual OpenPGP key + User ID + self-certification packets.
The device independently parses the OpenPGP object, verifies the UID self-cert, derives the fingerprint itself, shows it on the trusted display, requires physical approval + a local PIN, and signs with the removable NeoPGP card.
The resulting standard OpenPGP certification packet comes back over QR, and stock GnuPG verifies it:
gpg: 5 good signatures
This is the architecture I’m exploring toward Keycard Shell as a general-purpose trusted cryptographic interface: not just signing a host-provided hash, but letting the trusted device understand the protocol object and show the human what they’re actually authorizing.
Full demo Video ↓ (excuse the pauses 😅 I’m thinking through a lot of this in real time while I demo it)

By enslaving us to debt, profiting from our insecurities, and incentivising corruption.
But it doesn’t have to.

How do you tell a human-built contribution from an AI-generated one and does it even matter for funding open infrastructure?

Ok, well, the duck is out of the bag
vpavlin.github.io/logos-apps…
What the duck is QAKU?
I am absolutely mind blown by what SDS/reliable channels in @Logos_network Messaging enable!
Cannot wait for when they are officially enabled in the module (I am running of my fork where Claude enabled them for me:)
I am not saying QAKU is back, but there might be signs...
