🇿🇦THE TWO BIGGEST LOSERS IN THE 2026 LOCAL MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS‼️ It seems the ANC is being relegated to the villages, while the EFF is facing extinction all together. There is very little available for the ANC and EFF to celebrate. The EFF went from holding over 900 seats countrywide in 2021 to less than 200 in 2026. The ANC went from 4000 seats in 2021 to just above 1700 seats in 2026. For the EEF, the "xenophobes" listened to Julius Malema when he told South Africans that he doesn't want the votes of people who are against illegal immigration in South Africa, he called them xenophobes. He told them that he would rather not get votes if the votes come from xenophobes. Well, unfortunately for him, South Africans listened and let him to get his votes from outside South Africa. For the ANC, it seems the picture of Nelson Mandela doesn't work anymore. It seems the people want services, jobs and a functioning country rather than the history of the struggle against apartheid. For ages, all that the ANC had to do to get votes, was to wave the picture of Nelson Mandela, speak about the history of apartheid, and make the same empty promises of transformation that they made in 1994. Well, it seems that gum has run out of its sweetness, and the people have decided to spit it out. The Democratic alliance is the biggest winner this time. After all, it seems the politics of race no longer hold water in South Africa. People just want the dignity and functionality of their country back. Whether that can be delivered by the Democratic Alliance or not, that remains to be seen. At least, this time, South Africans have literally taken the slogan of "amandla - ngawethu" and made it a reality. The people have taken the power back from politicians who believed for many years that the people are their subjects, not their masters. The people have taken their throne back and this is a beautiful thing to watch for South Africans. #elections2026 #southafrica #ANC #EFF
