A theory:
ICE will be directed to focus deportations only in blue cities/states & not in any red. This will double serve to show his base deportations but also have a direct negative economic impact on blue areas mostly/only.
Further, threat of ICE will have a secondary effect of pushing undocumented workers to red state economies; and longer term hope is that businesses will follow -- all in a targeted economic strike against blue states/cities.

Ironically, the they were not blocking the bike lane* instead they were in the park lane. But had there been an actual protected bike lane, would the permit allow?
