Statistics Canada, literally today:
"The population of Canada reached an estimated 41,798,407 people on July 1, 2026, an increase of 189,425 people from July 1, 2025. This is the lowest annual growth in total size since 1944-45 and the lowest growth in percentage since 1915-16."

It is a Liberal takeover that will end very badly. Already showing up in their numbers. Big unemployment. ‘Oh Canada! President DJT

One in four Canadians have a disability – many with disabilities that are not visible. We’ll keep working to make sure all persons with disabilities are treated with dignity and respect, and have equal opportunities to participate and succeed. #IDPD2023 pm.gc.ca/en/news/statements/…
This is still happening right here in Ontario. Despite changes to labor laws and sheltered workshops, some employers still pay very little or nothing at all and claim it’s work training #subminimumwage has to end. No more excuses.
We're demanding the government stop allowing employers to pay people with disabilities less than minimum wage #RaiseTheWage #14C #SubminimumWage disabilityscoop.com/2023/11/…

Until airlines stop looking at wheelchairs and other mobility aids as luggage, these incidents will continue. first step is a change in attitude & culture towards the disabled. technology already exists to ensure wheelchairs travel safely and intact. It’s the Will that’s missing
