I need a replacement drive belt for a Panasonic RX-C52L cassette player and I'm struggling to find one. I'm sure it's the same one for several mechanisms but I don't know where to start. Paging @VHSChloe for advice!

I can't get composite or svideo working on the #commodore #c128 from av DIN but RF works. I'm suspecting modulator but how can RF be working? No scope 😟 but steady 0.8v dc on the composite pin. My monitor just flashes the source OSD every second and black screen.

🤔 I'm suspecting Commodore's video signal isn't being accepted by modern lcd digital monitors.

Replaced the power switch on the #c128 and it's working! 😀 Noisy RF output so needs more testing. Rewarded it with a good clean and now looks (and smells!) better. I've wanted one of these since 1988!!! #commodore

The project #c128 has a bad power switch, dead on both poles which is why it's doing nothing at all. I'm not optimistic about that MT ram either. Not looking good. #commodore

Made a start on the #c128 project, found this gotcha in the power supply!⚡️Must have been like that from the factory. Working fine after a refurb but the computer is completely dead #commodore – at Southampton, England

So far only removed the lid and cleaned off 40 years of dirt. I'd forgotten how nasty that Cigarette smell is around electronics, you don't encounter it much these days 🤢

Fired up AmigaBasic for the first time in ages. Curious how this Microsoft Basic compares to the old 8-bit versions from the C64 days. for 101 kB of code it's pretty advanced! This is a 1MB chip ram kickstart 1.3 machine - as I had in the day #amiga #commodore #c64

Here's MetaComCo ABasiC. Slightly different handling of single and double precision floating point numbers and an overflow error.

I didn't push it far enough, double precision numbers up to Exp 308. Must find a decent A1000 or A2000 one day! #amiga
